I read that others’ boots were not made from genuine suede. The pair I received are and I personally don’t mind the new leather smell. I like how the bottom tread feels when I walk; no fear of toppling over. These are my go-to to wear with leggings and a hoodie to add that bit of edge. These were as advertised, but came with a little scuffing on one shoe. Other than that, everything else was fine. I ordered the white pair. Sizing: True to size, I wear a size 9 in all shoes and a size 9 worked fine in these. The show is a little narrow. Putting on: I didn’t really struggle to put these on as a lot suggest. Maybe it’s because I have narrow/thinner feet? Like it was a usual struggle to put them on as any shoe like this but I slid my foot in without use of the pull tab within a minute. I've seen these shoes on Instagram and debated about ordering them. I thought the thick sole of the shoe might be uncomfortable but they're not. They are very comfortable and look great. I ordered my size and they are a little tight but I think they will loosen up. I am an older women and these are a little outside my fashion comfort zone but are working out great.
