I got these pants for my teen and she loves them! She's been practicing figure skating on them and she says they are great. Material is soft and thick, and the pants are comfy and soft on the inside. Length is great and they actually fit as in the product photos, covering the skates a bit. My teen loves that, because she usually wears regular leggings while other skaters were wearing pants like these, so she only wants to wear these pants. These leggings are great. I did not get them for ice skating - just for cold weather days. They fit great and are cozy warm and very comfortable. The flare hem is a great width to cover snow boots and look cute over flip flops too. They fit comfortably and stay up which is a problem I have with my ample booty. The fabric has a soft fleece inner lining that is comfortable and a smooth matte finish that is not see thru at all or shiny. They are not bulky at all - have the overall same look as my regular leggings. They are pretty breathable when working out, I do not notice myself getting overly hot in the girl parts area. These skating pants are nice quality. They're a nice weight fabric that is not a thick polar fleece, but it is thicker and warmer than a thermal lined fabric. They're nice pants that would be ideal for spring, summer or fall days at an ice rink when it's not as freezing cold at the rink as winter days. I ordered the size 12-13 years size for my daughter who wears a 10-12 in street clothes and an adult XS in skating pants from NY2 Sportswear (also sold on Amazon). Skate pants are usually way longer than regular pants because they pull over the skate boot, but these pants looked crazy long when I pulled them out of the package and then I noticed that the waistband was also pretty big. A size 12-13 is an XL per the tag. Size chart info was lacking when I ordered these, so we did a best guess as to which age range size was the right choice. The child's XL runs pretty big. I wear a women's medium in leggings and these pants fit me quite well (5'5" and 142lbs) in the length and the waist. They're comfortable and should be good for when I go out skating with my kids. There's enough length to these pants that I will be able to pull them down over the top of the boot and cover part of the heel. For the price point they're decent. ... show more

My daughter loves the comfort and stretch of these ice skating pants. They make her legs look super long and will be able to be worn for a while yet as she grows taller. The ends aren't flared but sit comfortably around the boot above the blades. The fabric feels like good quality.
