These skates did not do well for my daughter. She is a 13 so the smallest they go. But there was a ton of extra room above her toes. Also they are not firm around the ankles and her feet were tilting inwards. Also the blades are too long when the foot is a 13 and stick out too far infront of the skater. She is taking ice skating lessons so she is learning to skate properly. These might be ok if you are just recreational but these are not good for actually learning. Also the lack of tow pic makes a difference in getting up if the skater falls, our instructor pointed that out. I really wanted to save money and use these multiple years but it's not worth the quality that provided. ... show more

The blade on my son's skate cracked in half! He's 5 and was barely able to skate, he certainly wasn't doing any hard use or aggressive skating. The weirdest thing is that I think this happened while they were just sitting in the garage with guards on. Maybe a thermal fracture due to poor metal quality or something. ... show more

Bought them as a Christmas gift for my daughter. These are her first single blade big girl skates. I brought her to our local skating rink last night where she tried them out for the first time. She loves the look and she says they are very comfortable. As these skates are size-adjustable, I hope we will get a few years of fun out of them. ... show more

For first time skates, I would say these are good. They are a bit of a struggle to get on - they do not just slide on. If you have an impatient one like my son, they get the shoe best prepared first because these take a minute to get on and to get comfy. They are easy to adjust size. They are warm. The skates have a 60-day warranty and one of the blades split during the warranty window. I called the 1-800 number and was surprised at how quickly the problem was resolved. The company sent me a replacement blade within the week and my child is back on the ice. I purchased these skates as a Christmas gift for my eight year old grandson. The adjustable sizing feature is a great plus to this product. I wear a size 7.5 women’s boot and even I could fit in this skate! It’s wonderful that my grandson will be able to wear them for several years.
