Snagged this Stelle cropped sweatshirt in a small (I'm 5'6", 135 lbs, 34C bust), and it's overall a good pick for that trendy cropped look without being too revealing. I actually ordered both small and medium to compare, but the medium felt even more boxy around the shoulders – like it was swimming on me – so I stuck with the small for a slightly more fitted (but still oversized) silhouette. It's a bit boxy in general, which gives it that relaxed, effortless style, but if you're petite, size down for the best drape. What I appreciate most is the more cotton-y material – it's not that super buttery soft stuff everyone raves about in reviews, but that's exactly what I was after for a sturdier, everyday feel. The fabric has a good weight to it, so it'll keep me warm on crisp fall days without overheating. The crop hits right at my hips, which is perfect for pairing with high-waisted jeans or leggings, and the color choices are spot-on. Butter yellow is all the rage this spring, but it’s still a little chilly in the PNW. I wanted a sweatshirt that has a slight crop as I like my tops to meet the top of my jeans, and this sweater is perfect. It’s not super soft- a little stiff but it doesn’t bother me. It will probably soften with more washes. The fit is perfect- not too boxy and the sleeves aren’t ginormous like I’ve experienced with other similar tops. This is exactly the kind of sweatshirt I’ve been searching for! The cut and style is so stylish and comfortable. Dropped shoulders, a slightly cropped fit (hits right at the waist), just the right thickness - it’s not thin but not too thick. The fabric is soft and moveable, warm, and cozy. I adore the large variety of colors available and am tempted to get them all. If I had to change one thing, it would be to make it 100% cotton (instead of 80% cotton/20% polyester) because I’m not a fan of synthetic fabric, but I appreciate the high cotton content and it feels like 100% cotton to the touch. The sweater is made of good-quality cotton and feels durable and well constructed. The fabric is quite heavy, which makes it warm but also less comfortable for extended wear.
