This is a stage 1 snow blower. I believe that is 8 inches of snow or less. We just had a perfect test of this tool of 19 inches of heavy wet snow. The tool works great in the early part of the storm. Then overwhelmed, and that's OK. For this was by no means our normal storm. I am impressed with how well it did do. So if your normal is 8 inches of snow or less. This is a good buy. ... show more

The snowblower looks wonderful. It’s very easy to assemble but if you’re snow is not light and fluffy has any ice to it at all the snowblower will not work very well. Also does not work well in deep snow. The snowblowing Director tends to catch a lot of the snow in it and needs to be cleaned out often. I've only used it once and it handled the 3 inches of snow just fine. BUT it comes with only a single charger when the machine takes 2 batteries. Which means if you need to charge between usage it's going to take twice the time. I tried several place to contact someone to see if I could purchase an extra charging pack. All dead ends. So can I use a different brand charging pack on these batteries? ... show more
