We purchased this drum for our millennial son for Christmas. The sounds are beautiful, otherworldly, and he plays it often. It comes with sticks and finger attachments to create different sounds, and has two octaves. We highly recommend it!

I was so excited to order this and am pleased with the overall quality of both the drum and the bag. It produces absolutely beautiful and ethereal sounds. The number stickers are not great though and one has already fallen off. The song book that's included isn't accurate but the drum itself is quite nice.

The media could not be loaded. I used to use a smaller tongue drum for my music kindergarten classes, but my kids liked it so much that I decided to buy this one, and it was a wonderful decision! The sound is perfect, tuned, my kids are really enjoying it! And of course, the material is durable, there's no way they can damage it. Additionally, it comes with its case, which makes it easy for me to take it everywhere.

A few years back, a friend of mine brought his tongue drum over and played it for us. I had never seen one before, and was mesmerized by the etheric sounds emanating from that beautiful instrument. Steel tongue, "hank" or "tank" drums are a relatively new percussion instrument, and I've wanted one in my home ever since. When I saw this 14" NBMICSO 15 Note Steel Tongue Drum, I ordered it immediately. Along with the lovely, well-constructed and durable lotus style carbon steel tongue drum, I also received: ~ Two wooden-handled & round rubber-ended playing mallets ~ A pair of additional egg-shaped rubber ends that you can interchange with the round mallet ends, if desired ~ Five rubber finger mallets that allow me the option to play using my fingers instead of the mallets ~ Two sets of optional black & white note stickers can make it easier to see than the attached silver stickers ~ An easy to follow instruction/songbook with 15 songs for beginners ~ Removable decorative rattan edge protector ~ A durable canvas carrying case with handy mallet sleeve, nylon carrying handles and a removable shoulder strap for easy & safe transport and storage. I'd love it if the carrying/storage case had additional space for the included accessories, as keeping everything together would be ideal for me. Also, there are tiny pieces of tape that cover the silver numbered note stickers on the drum. I assumed these were to protect the stickers during shipping, but when I attempted to remove the tape, some of the stickers were coming off with it. I'd love it if the note indicators were permanently affixed to the carbon steel. With that said, I am nonetheless very happy with this 14" NBMICSO 15 Note Steel Tongue Drum and recommend it highly!
