Beautiful sound at 440 Hz , which I understand it is not the angelic vibration. However I really cannot tell the difference. This steel drum is easy to use and very pretty and well made. There are two ways to play it: using notes that remind the sounds if church bells and using all the traditional 7 notes. There are stick on numbers enclosed to label your notes. The Steel Drum has a nice case too to store it away. I originally bought it for my grandaugher but I use it more than she does.i do not have any musical talent but the church bells notes are for everyone. It makes a great gift for anyone age 7+. It is great for meditation and relaxation too. I found several tutorials on youtube where expert musician/users are using exactly this same drum.

I have always wanted to play and instrument,now I’m thrilled to have this amazing drum.I contacted their customer service to help me to chose the right drum for me.They went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the right drum for my personal use. True to the key of D, but there are definitely tone and timbre variations based on where the mallet strikes. The worst part was the very itchy, shedding, rope tied around it. I am not sure what material was used, but the rope cover was not functional for an instrument . Thankfully, it was removable with some maneuvering,.else that would have been a deal breaker and sent back. It's not the best instrument like this I've used, but it's also not anywhere near the worst. It is functional and does what it should. It appears durable so far, and the color is lovely. There is a functional case to hold the instrument and extra stickers with numbers to identify tones. Personally, as a professional musician, I prefer the stickers to be notes, but I did leave the numbers on for my husband to play. If you're not a musician, playing by number, such as playing the odd numbers or even numbers together, will sound lovely and is an easy way to make good sounds without knowing what you are doing .

Bought this as a gift for my mom for her birthday. Neither of us know much about this type of instrument but we were both blown away by the quality of the instrument, the quality of sound it produced, as well as the various accessories that were included. Great bang for your buck if you’re not looking to spend too much money on a steel drum.

Love this drum. I looked at similar drums costing $249 on “sale”. This drum sounds lovely. I use it during restorative yoga class. My students love it. Very calming and enhances the mood. Very easy to use and learn.

It’s exquisite. The color is gold with some sparkle. The sound to me is perfect and worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed. My first one was a tiny baby one, but this one is perfectly huge and the sound vibrates. Very happy.
