Ok, so I first need to state, I am basically new to darts. While I have played numerous times throughout my life, I have never owned a dartboard nor my own darts. I recently ordered a fairly basic paperwound board; it arrived with what are probably the cheapest, lightest, plastic darts available (junk). I knew that if I wanted to enjoy playing, I absolutely needed some better darts. While searching on Amazon, I came across these CareGames Steel Tip Darts Set 24g with Carrying case and Extra Accessories. What first caught my attention was the price ($8.99/set at the time of ordering) as - being new to darts- I wanted to find a good quality darts at a very reasonable price. I liked the look of the darts as well the fact that they arrived in a handy storage case with various "extras". I ordered one set and then, 10 minutes later, ordered a second given the affordability of these compared to others I looked at. One set of my darts arrived today and, I must say, I am very impressed with the quality, construction, finish, and weight of this set. While, as mentioned, I don't know much about darts, these seem like an amazing product for the price. I wish the darts had arrived with at least minimal directions; while I could easily figure out most aspects about the darts by simply looking at them, there are a couple things I'll have to go online to learn (like what is a flight protector and how is it used? When/why would I want to use the abs tailpiece rather than the aluminum?). I am very, very happy with the quality and price of the CareGames 24g Steel Tip Darts Set and would readily recommend these to others.

This is a nice set of darts for when friends come over and don't have their own set. Great value for the price, and the 24g weight feels less cheap than lighter darts. Economical enough to let my 13yo son play with his friends without me freaking out if they get damaged. Plenty of flight designs so no one confuses whose darts are theirs. Case seems good, but not currently using it. I'd purchase this set again without hesitation.

solid, heavier weight set that has all the spare parts we need for an outdoor set that can take a beating. Had to move on from the plastic shaft darts to these aluminum ones since to avoid repeated breakage when they hit the concrete pool deck. These feel more professional too and help with accuracy. Love all the spare flights and shafts. Good set for the money.

Caught these on sale when I first started playing. Great starter set, has everything you need, and they have held up well. They are heavier than expected, the 24g description is just the barrel weight. I have upgraded to more expensive lighter darts to dial in my throw but I bring these out often for harder boards, due to the weight, and for others to use. Overall great buy.

I received a dartboard for Christmas two years ago and finally got around to mounting it in a cabinet. The soft-tipped darts I tried on my board were not the right ones, so I went to Amazon to find the fastest, cheapest, and best value steel-tipped darts I could find. This set fit the bill for all three. I have zero experience throwing darts, but I will say that they are great at sticking into all kinds of surfaces: dart boards, 3/4 inch plywood cabinet backing, drywall, and even short paneled doors!! I can only imagine my kids have been experimenting with tossing these into various materials to see if they stick, and the sharp steel tip has done the trick every time, leaving behind ample evidence of where it stuck. Thanks kids!! I can't speak to the quality of the darts, but they've done the job and enabled us to have many hours of fun when our games should be over in mere minutes (because the whole family is fairly terrible at darts). When thrown properly, these darts fly straight and aren't really coming apart. It's only been a few weeks but I'm satisfied with the craftsmanship and won't hesitate to buy again when a family pet invariably makes one of these a personal chew toy.

Great value for the price. Perfect for adult use, but if kids/teens/heavy use- probably not durable enough
