First, let me say that I love these so far. Very comfortable, required little breaking-in (about a day of running errands for me), and the micro fur lining is super soft and warm. (Almost too warm if you're inside a decently heated building for most of the day.) They don't have half-sizes for most of the mid-range sizes so, after reading other reviews, I decided to go up (9, I usually wear 8.5). That's definitely the right choice, they fit almost perfectly. I say almost because there is a little bit of extra room in the heel but not so much that it's a real issue. Love love love these boots! They are combat type boots, they have zippers on both sides. The burgundy color is on point. There is like a fur type material around the ankle on the inside. They are super comfortable but pretty bulky which I like that. I don't think they have half sizes so I got a size 7 and a 6.5 would have been perfect. Little too big, but I'm keeping them. I’m impressed now having product in hand - pleasantly pleased and better than expected. Nice looking boot. Doesn’t look cheap. Good value price. Boots are very comfortable. Heel is chunky but not a monster chunk. Soles grip well in inclement weather - saying this because some boots made for winter can be slippery and not grip pavement in wet or snowy weather conditions. Boot also is flexible and not too rigid. I typically wear an 8 1/2 M and 8 1/2 Wide depending on the shoe. Roomy in right places but not too tight but still having comfortable foot support. I would say I have pretty average width feet, but these boots are a little narrow. They are still wearable, but would be so much more comfortable with a little bit of width added to them. For size reference, I wear a 9.5 and ordered the 9.5, and the length is correct.
