This detail/protection spray is a difficult item to review. It would require long term evaluation to determine if the UV protection stands up to its claims. So with that, I can't speak to the UV, but as a detailing spray, this product works great. We took our travel trailer out for the first time this season a few weeks ago. Upon our return, we washed the trailer, and used this for spot cleaning and full unit protection. It worked great at removing bug splatter and the common RV water spots/streaks. It was easy on and easy off. Spray on, wipe, let haze, and wipe off. It left a nice shine across the entire trailer. It even smells good, so no nasty chemical smells to deal with. And fortunately, it had no negative affect on any of the trailer's surfaces, including the stickers. We are very pleased with the product, and there is plenty for multiple treatments. We hope the product lives up to the UV claims. The cost is comparable to other auto detailing spray, so this is an easy choice to make your RV sparkly clean, and hopefully protected from the elements. ... show more

    • It Does A Lot Of Things Well But Is Unequaled In Bug Removal
OK, confession I do NOT have an RV but I love this stuff. I decided to try it out in places I use Armor-all and it cleaned and shined like magic, I used it on the tires and it cleaned them up and left a great shine. Where this stuff becomes magic is removing bugs from your painted, plastic or fiberglass surfaces. Very little effort required, cleans like magic, leaves a great shine ..... what more could you want other than wishing it cost less. Bottom Line: Great stuff, cleans exceptional well, seen nothing that cleans off smashed bugs like this stuff and leave a great shine and a pleasant smell. I am amazed that something that cleans this good does not harm painted surfaces but it doesn't. So 5 Stars because it pretty much did everything it promised to do. ... show more

If you're looking for a spray-on protectant with some shine, this would probably give you the results you're looking for. It does seem like a small bottle for something the size of an RV, so it will best be used for quick touch-ups between more detailed cleaning and waxing. For best results, spray on, let set a few minutes, then wipe off. Bugs or grease may require extra treatment and/or rubbing. ... show more

    • Star Brite Cleaner
The Star Brite Premium RV Guard seems to be a very good product. I tried it on my boat after it had sat outside for the winter. The boat had scuffs from the docking, dirt, some old dried plant matter and a bit of grease on it. Using an old towel to wipe it, I liberally sprayed the Star Brite on the boat side, wiped and scrubbed it off. It took everything off except the scuffs and left a nice shine on the boat. It really didn't take much effort, just a bit of rubbing in some areas. I wanted to try the Star Brite without washing the boat first, just to test it. I don't believe washing it ahead of the Star Brite would have made much of a difference. If I was doing something as large as a RV, I would probably get the gallon liquid rather than the spray. We have a black vehicle that shows all, and this has been a great product to reach for when we want to quickly remove the spots and bugs (see attached image). More fluid is required to get the bugs off and it works best to spray liberally and let sit for a minute before trying to wipe the bugs away. You are left with a smooth, shiny, mirrored surface. In the photo you can see that the top left panel has been cleaned with the Star brite spray and the right panel has not. This product worked so well on the car that I used it on our stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The spray proved to be very effective at removing the streaks, spots and handprints, but I would recommend using a microfiber cloth for the best streak-free results. Additionally, I love that this product doesn’t have a harsh chemical smell. The scent is light and pleasing, maybe even fruity. ... show more

    • Great stuff for house, RV and vehicles
We don't have an RV, but we have a truck and a car and this is a great detailer for both of them. I have also used it on the fiberglass bathtub enclosure. This is great stuff. It is so versatile. You can use it on painted surfaces, metal surfaces, rubber and plastic surfaces. Afterwards, you get shine and sun protection. It also helps removing bugs, water spots and dirt. ... show more
