Listen, I know. This is the trendy thing to have. Even my kid wants one. I have no problem using cups like a regular human. But I do drink a lot of water and have a few large lidded insulated tumblers. But they're all a bit...lacking. They have that weird rubber seal that gets gross and you have to clean it out. Or the lid never fits quite right. Or they're too big in my small hands and I drop them. I bought this Stanley, figuring I use these tumblers every day, all day. Quality of life improvement. And it is. The handle is great to have, I haven't dropped it yet. The lid fits super snug and does not leak or fall off - plus easy to seal. The straw hole is also tight so no leaks out of the top (yet). And 40oz has me drinking 1/3 more each day than I did previously. There's no funky business inside to take apart to clean. It keeps water cold well over a day and I'm not even using ice. It's solid, comfortable and fits in cupholders. Is it worth this price? IDK, yes? Because it's the only one I've found that covers all these bases. I do hope it lasts a very long time, it seems like it will. And one great tumbler for $$ is much better than several crummy tumblers that add up to $$$$. I'm not even concerned about fitting it in the cabinet because I always have it in use - but I got rid of my crummy tumblers, so it actually gave me more cabinet space. It's a very nice piece of equipment and I plan to use it for water. But I just wanted to point out, that it's not as yellow as it looks in the description. As my husband very succinctly remarked: looks like that colour, but the picture was taken with a flash. That is exactly what it looks like.

Hey Mama! At first I was skeptical of how awesome a big dump cup could be. Then. I. Bought. One. In dusky yellow to match my Uggs! It keeps my cold water cold so I can stay looking hot. It fits perfectly in the cup holder of my mid-size SUV while I’m driving my unappreciative kids to all the things. And best thing, at the end of a hard day, I can fit an entire bottle of Josh in it, light a scented candle and head out to my gazebo to unwind. You know you want it Mama! Go buy one! ... show more

It is everything you want from a Stanley and does exactly what you need it to do. My only problem is it is not even close to the color shown online. It is more of a dull brownish yellow, not the brighter yellow color in the picture. Oh well.

I like it, it's a very good tumbler. It keeps things cold and iced all day. I like the handle and the fact that you can take apart all the pieces in the lid for easy clean up. But is it worth the price? No. The top silver band sweats. The material is not indestructible as that one viral video makes it seem. I dented mine by dropping it from around 2 feet in the air. I mostly got this because there isn't many tumblers out there in the 40oz size. The quality build on this one is fantastic and cleaning is incredibly easy. The dishwasher will do the job for you. The media could not be loaded. I usually use YETI brand drinking containers, but loved the color of this one so much I had to get it. The Stanley tumblers are most definitely *not* leak proof, but I don’t know who is going around completely turning their cups upside down? Lol. I think if it fell over it wouldn’t pour out, but when turned upside down it does leak substantially. To be fair, it doesn’t leak out of the area that doesn’t contain holes, as you can see in the very beginning of my video. I did not buy this expecting it to be leak proof, so I am not disappointed. As far as color is concerned, I’ve seen a lot of complaints about it not matching the product images online. You guys— lighting is EVERYTHING. When held in daylight, the color is almost exactly the same as the product image. Of course the color looks different when not in good lighting (see attached images). I would definitely not describe the color as “brown” or “tan” as others have, it truly is like a muted honey mustard yellow. It’s not quite as yellow as sunflower yellow. Hope this helps someone!
