First let me say this kit is a good value for the price. I was very interested in the fact that it was stainless and not just aluminized steel. Being in Pennsylvania the brine sprayed in the winter is hard on anything metal. The kit was just ok when it arrived. The protection level was average. Mine had 2 visible defects immediately but nothing I was going to return over. The fit was actually better than I expected And the install went better than planned. My biggest concern is the amount of rust starting to show on the polished muffler face after only 2 months in service and it’s only the summer. I have very little hope of these looking decent after a winter without a ton of cleaning. Bottom line if you want a decent well fitting kit that doesn’t break the bank this is it. It does the job, the only part stainless is the mufflers and bolts. the rest is just painted silver. If you don't have high expectations you won't be disappointed. if you are expecting oem quality then have a look at the pictures and adjust your expectations

    • Received kit right away but y pipe was too short ...
Looks like a great kit, but the y pipe was the wrong one to fit 2012 Forester. Time being important , I ran down to Napa and bought the correct y pipe and a band clamp. So all and all I have new exhaust for under $600. But the y pipe I had to get isn't stainless steel :(
