I *LOVE* this xylophone !!! First of all kudos to Music 123 - such prompt delivery, it arrived 4 days earlier than expected. The box had been ripped open however nothing was damaged. This has a soundbox underneath the bars rendering a more mellow, deeper tone quality akin to a marimba when using softer mallets. The mallets included produce a good quality tone, not harsh and give out a hefty volume. The rosewood bars are beautifully crafted, stained with a clear, glossy finish. Much to my great surprise I opened the case and found 3 extra bars which were not included in the instruments' description, 2 F#s and a Bb. Each bar is easily removed so replacing the F#s and/or Bb is a snap. The case fits well, has two metal zippers, a strap handle and shoulder strap for very easy transport. The only thing about it is that the side pouch is not wide enough to carry sheet music however you can put music inside the case - no problem. I highly recommend this xylophone, I am so pleased with it !!! ... show more

Two of the keys don't work on the xylophone. I'm still waiting for the return label they promised to send. Not one of the better experiences I've had with a product.
