It was hard to tell in the provided pictures that all of the shelves were different sizes from each other. I assumed there was at least 2 different sizes if shelf but all 5 shelves are different. They all have the same depth which is good, so it's not a large issue, but something that would need to be planned for. The dimensions are not in the pictures but they are in the video, I had to take a screenshot in order to see the dimensions. There are no drill templates provided which makes things a little more difficult, you must be good with a level and tape measure in order to get these installed correctly. Other than the difficulty in arranging and small difficulties in installing the shelves are nice and sturdy and made of real wood which is stained well, they feel and look very nice. ... show more

The material these shelves were made out of, is rough and the mounting plates where they need to grab on to the screw heads are not well designed. Unless you are precise with your measuring and drilling, it will be a lot of hard time to hang them. They are just okay for decoration to be seen from afar. It seemed like there were just a couple ways to configure the shelves from the photos, but when they arrived, I was 5 separate shelves that my teen immediately had fun stacking in multiple different ways. We intended to mount them on the wall, but now he will use them stacked on a shelf to display figures. Shelves are very lightweight, could actually use tacks to mount on the wall if you were only putting light things on it like we are. It's really my fault because I live alone and tried to get this up right away. I have a drill but it took forever to get up. I wanted to play with the ideas of how to put it together and should've done more of that. It's very cute and sturdy though so I do love it.

These shelves arrived as described and appear to be a pretty basic installation for floating shelves. They really do look nice and sleek and modern, pretty neutral though so easy to mix and match to your home decor. Good buy.
