First off, it says it won’t work with trifold tonneau covers like mine, it does but you have to remove the rails of the tonneau cover, remove the padding from the side of the brackets included, and mount the brackets inside between the bed and the tonneau rails. Aside from that, the install was good and it looks amazing. It’s not functional in the sense of a safety device, this thing will not add any support in the event of a rollover.     • Use locktite on bolts upon assembly
Assembled and installed rather easily, but after being installed for a few months i noticed that a bunch of the assembly bolts have fallen out. So do yourself a favor and put some lock tite on them before installation.

This rollbar is for show only. Not very sturdy but looks great. Hard to set up for one man. The screws don't hold the crossbars in place very well. They keep coming loose. I used ss hose clamps to help.

Not hard to install just take your time used Loctite dislikes the brake light didn't really see a need for it on my pickup since high enough where the cab light is still visible other than that love the quality

Ok wanted the traditional roll bar look, this needs some modifications to make it actually fit and be solid. And this will work with an in channel mount tonneau cover, as opposed to the top mount cover. The brackets need to remove inner foam and fism on the rails where the bracket sits, i resealed with silicone to help prevent water from getting in. The 3rd brake light sits above the factory, I cut that portion out to allow factory brake to be seen and to show off more of the bar. The rack will have to be expanded all the way out, once doing that it’s very flimsy, added washers inbetween tubes where the plus nuts are gives an offset to fully tighten too as well as 4 additional bolts to upper plate to grab and secure the outside tubes making it one solid rack. The side brackets were not needed and takes away from the rack imo. Mounted and solid, the brackets were clamped in place and the washer helps grab the cover rails inside. Once all together I bolted through the rack and top of rails, was needed to stop the bounce from road vibration. We will see how it holds up. It’s definitely stainless steel the drill bits performed as expected with stainless. Hope this helps some of you. The product itself is ok. The mounting needs work, definitely needs more thought process put into the strengthening of the rack. ... show more
