If this is the first one I bought, then it is holding up well. Very unassuming. Picture quality isn't the greatest in low light. Motion detection can be overly sensitive as sometimes it starts recording when the light comes on. Used in conjunction with a Samsung Pro 32gb micro SD card; once in a while will get a corrupt video file. I love the size and look of the device. Once plugged in, no one will be suspecting or knowing that a camera is there. The only draw back for me is to have it at an height which would capture the best view, as most power outlet is low and not getting facial detection until the person is further away. It was a bit difficult to set-up, but after reading through the manual and spending time to understand the process it worked. My biggest disappointment is that it doesn't have a voice recording, but based on the price I paid for it I have not much to complain about. In summary it was a good value for money ... show more

Likes: It's dirt cheap; I am using a 128gb card and I can view videos right off the device (connected to my laptop via USB) with no lag or problems. That is convenient. Pretty good resolution and so simple to set up and use. It gets the basic job of surveillance done. Dislikes: No audio ( but I knew that when I bought it so it's OK) The camera has a long throw and when plugged into most outlets you need 20 or more feet to see someone's upper body and head, that sucks. It's because the outlet is too low to the ground but aren't most of them. You are limited by where your outlets are situated. The charger works so it looks legit but my god it is an old fashioned "trickle" charge, 5 watts max. It would take all day to charge a phone. The time/text file is weird. It always appears to default to 2022 and I have set it a few times. Changed attributes to read only but it still resets. It may hold the time, just got it today and still experimenting. You can say Y (editing the time/text notepad file) to have date/time stamp on the recorded video or say N to leave it off. I prefer the time stamp myself. Overall a good device and it has a darn nice picture for such a tiny camera. ... show more

It is a legitimate charger and camera. Very discrete. My items keep losing themselves so hopefully this finds the culprit. The instruction manual did not say how to set up other than how to remove the micro SD card (not included in my purchase) but I already had one. So I assume it's as simple as plugging it in. I've put it in a well lit area, plugged in a USB and it charged! Then I put it in the area it will be in, much darker, and will check back in half an hour to see what, if anything, was recorded as well as the quality of the video. It comes with a USB for C connection, the iPhone plug, a micro SD card reader USB, and a USB to USB plug. You can cover the reader with a sticker to conceal. So fast, it looks great. I'll update once I review the recordings. *Update* It works great. Best in areas with decent to great lighting. It isn't HD but clear and gets the job done. There was no sound and it recorded in spurts of approximately 4 minutes after the initial motion detection. It is VERY sensitive and begins recording right when it is plugged in. I will be buying more to place in other areas, if need be. ... show more

I'm shocked that this camera works so well, given the price and reviews. I'm giving it 4 stars because the instructions are a bit all over the place and there should be something that tells you what each cord they give you are for. Also, I'm on a MAC, not PC, so my machine doesn't read the USB that it comes with, even when I use the USB converter that it comes with for Mac. I'm able to view the video by using a separate converter that I bought on Amazon. I basically plug in the USB that came with this product into that adapter I bought on Amazon in order to see the video. The quality of the video is really good. There is no sound, but that's not needed. Also, the camera works whether it's on the charger or not, meaning that you can leave the adapter plugged in without it charging and it will still record. I haven't used it at night, so I'm not sure about night quality, but in a dimmer lit room it still performed well. I had issues with the first SD card I used, but it was the card not the camera. When I switched to a new microSD with larger storage, the camera was able to record and everything went well. Note that this is a hidden / nanny cam that is in an adapter, so be sure you know where you want to plug in the camera to get a good view of what's going on in the room. Most adapters sit low to the floor, but you're still able to get a good view of what's going on in a room. ... show more

I like this camera, but I am still trying to figure it out on how to use it with my Samsung Chrome book. I tried inserting my micro SD card but it wont read 🤔, (my laptop accept micro SD without adaptor). Then I used my dad's microsoft laptop and easy pissy the recorded videos were easy to play (I used adaptor for my micro SD). Maybe it's just me not being a computer expert. ... show more
