    • Solid Foam and Cleaning Power for Regular Washes, but Not Heavy-Duty
I’ve used a handful of car shampoos over the years (mostly with a foam cannon), so I had a pretty good baseline going into this one. First thing I noticed was the foam - it definitely produces a thick, sudsy layer when mixed correctly. I used it in a foam cannon at roughly the recommended dilution (around 1:60-ish), and it clung to the paint longer than I expected. It’s not quite that shaving-cream-level foam you get from some premium brands, but it’s more than enough to cover the car and give it time to loosen up dirt. Cleaning performance was solid for a maintenance wash. It handled light road grime, dust, and pollen without any issue. Heavier stuff like bug splatter or baked-on dirt still needed a second pass or a bit of agitation with a mitt, but that’s pretty normal for soaps in this category. It does feel slick while washing, which helps reduce the chance of scratching. The formula is designed to lift dirt and provide lubrication during contact washing, which is exactly what you want from a soap like this. One thing to be aware of is dilution. If you go too heavy on water, it still foams but loses some cleaning strength pretty quickly. I had one wash where I over-diluted it and noticed the difference right away. Scent is light and slightly citrusy - nothing overpowering. It rinses clean and didn’t leave any obvious residue or streaking on my dark paint. Overall, this feels like a good “value” soap. It’s not going to replace higher-end detailing shampoos if you’re chasing max foam or gloss, but for regular washes it gets the job done and plays nicely with foam cannons, foam guns, or even a simple bucket wash.
