This works fine except for 1 problem. There is a lock bushing at the bottom of the shaft which you can barely see in the photo. If you remove the seat it may fall down into the base pole and you can't get it back out. It is threaded into plastic and will strip or work loose.Would be easy to replace if Springfield sold it separately, but they don't list it and don't respond to requests for info. So all you can do is buy a new swivel to replace a $2.00 bushing.Without the bushing attached, your seat becomes "wobbly". ... show more

    • They're all slightly bent.
I've ordered 4 of these and 3/4 were bent and had to be returned. It's almost as if they are made this way but there is no reasoning I can see for them to be bent. Just poor materials.
