  • Good spinning short.
Size: X-Large Color: Black
Chose these because price was right for a basic pair of shorts. Love a good pair of P/Is but do not need to throw down that cash for multiple pairs for spin classes. I used the sizing chart and they fit fine (XL for my 40 inch waist). After one ride I ordered a couple more - feeling they would serve as usable, go-to shorts for 3-4 gym rides per week. After a couple weeks of using them, including washing, I am confident recommending them. Comfortable and a good fit on me, they do what I asked them to do. They are not as 'sturdy' or as thick as P/I, but they are not cheap or flimsy. Also, indoors, I actually appreciate how light they are compared to the P/I pair. Padding is fine - covers where I need it to and doesn't move around. Stitching, materials and workmanship seem good to me. I do notice the elastic insert of the waist band can shift a little because it does not completely fill the fabric sleeve top to bottom. It can fold over and crimp - probably because I have a bigger belly (hence my need for spin classes). It is not really an issue for me at this point, but I will keep an eye on it. Will update in a few months to discuss wear. Update: I have been using these regularly for a couple months. I machine wash in cold gym stuff. A small scoop of borax and tide. Hang dry. Holding up well. Cannot beat these for the price. Update to the update. These have held up fine over a long time. Cannot tell my original pairs from newer ones. They wash up fine and maintain integrity and function. Padding is still where it should be, whereas a pricier name brand shifted. As you know - no fabric softener. I tried the new rinses that claim to remove residue & odor. Good use for sport fabric. Shorts remain highly recommended! ... show more

  • Quality for the Price
Still somewhat new to cycling. On and off for about 6 years. I definitely can’t see myself spending almost $65.00+ on cycling apparel so I like to try out ones under $25.00 for now. I’m about 5’7 175lbs so I opted for the L size. However, after reading other reviews I noticed others stating that getting the size down from what you actually are would suffice. (Didn’t read any reviews before I bought, just saw the high star rating lol 🙈) Anyhow, once I received them I automatically threw them in the wash AND dryer along with other clothes. I know, maybe not the smartest but I wanted to see if they would shrink. They did just a tad bit and felt nice. I went on a 20 mile bike ride today and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The padding is great and covers a lot more than other shorts I have had/still have. Additionally, the shorts stayed put and didn’t sag or fall down for me. Pretty durable after one ride and I look forward to seeing how long they last for future rides. I would definitely recommend getting a size smaller than what your usual size is and for the price you certainly can’t beat it, especially if you’re needing something inexpensive but also quality at the same time. ... show more

  • Very affordable and comfortable.
Size: Large Color: Grey
These shorts fit as expected. I wear a large and ordered a large and they fit perfect. The padding is pretty good. I did a 20 mile ride and they were comfortable. Not sure how they'll hold up for longer rides though. For the price though they can't be beat and they will get a lot of use.

  • Comfortable biking shorts with maximum cushion
These bike shorts fit perfectly and provide cushion in the rear areas towards maximum comfortable ride. I will buy them again when needed.

  • Pretty decent shorts. The price makes them a deal.
Size: Medium Color: Black
I have been a cyclist all of my life, and in 40 years of using a huge variety of brands I feel like I can give these shorts an honest review. At this point I have mostly been rotating Pearl Izumi, and Aero Tech Designs shorts. These ones popped up for a very good price, and I thought I'd give them a try. Construction: The multi panel construction is similar to some of my higher end shorts, and the stitching quality looks identical. I like the mesh panels that “may” make them a little cooler to wear. The fabric is thinner than any of my other shorts. The legs are a little tight, but not too bad. The leg grippers are nice and understated, yet do the job and keep the shorts from riding up. Comfort: The one thing that kept me from jumping on these right away is the bulky “pad” that they use. I hadn’t seen this in person, so it was just the photo that raised a red flag. As luck would have it the actual padding while it has some volume it compresses very easily, and is a non-issue. The primary purpose for padding in cycling shorts is to wick moisture away to prevent chaffing. These shorts do a fair job of it. I haven’t had any chaffing/burning in the 200 miles that I’ve put on these shorts in the last couple of weeks. Final Thoughts: For the price you can do a lot worse. I have had name brand shorts that are less comfortable than these, and others that fell apart very quickly. These are a very good deal for someone who is starting to put on extra miles, and wants to see if a true cycling short will make some of the pain go away. FWIW cycling shorts shouldn’t be used to fix a lack of padding/comfort from the saddle. If your saddle is uncomfortable you probably need a different one. ... show more
