My 8 yr old fit in it. It didn't deflate and was super adorable watching him walk in it! He liked it! However for kids his size it didn't work with walking around on Halloween going trick or treating. He got tired and got a head ache. That's probably on me though. Works great for kids for like 30 kind to an hour, but ita hard for the little kids to walk in. I had friend's who's kids wore bloe up costumes years prior and they told me the issues they had line holes making it deflate and batteries running out so I brought my backpack with gorilla tape and extra batteries just in case. But he ended up becoming exhausted trying to get from house to house. However the costume worked. The fan worked, no holes, he was adorable. He did the down town trick or treat in it for an hr or so and his school Halloween party and all went well then. DEFINITELY KEEP AN EYE ON THE KIDDO as there is limited vision ans the face thing fogs up. All the adults were laughing so hard at his little waddle and tail. Probably not the best costume for kids under 10 to have to walk around in though.

It looks cool when it actually works. Even with brand new batteries, the motor only works for about five minutes and then turns off. My son was very disappointed to have a non-inflated costume for our Halloween party and there isn't time to get a new one before Halloween. And of course it's past the return window. Waste of money and disappointed kid .
