For the price the costume is pretty good. I modified the pants by cutting off the boot covers. I made the pants tattered and it improves the look, just my thoughts. I didn't end up using the hat, the banana gave it a more fun vibe.

I wore the pirate costume to work and received many compliments from coworkers and customers. I am 5 ft, 9 inches, 200 pounds, and the large fit me well. Only complaints are that the belt is too small and the eye patch was too tight. This is a great looking costume for the price.

My partner ordered an XL. He’s 6 getting, 195 lbs. Fits perfectly. The colors are bright, pants loose enough for larger men. However the hat is very flimsy. He ordered a better brown-colored hat made out of cardboard on Amazon and it was worth the extra money. We found a saber-like sword in the Dollar Tree store and that helps the overall look.

I thought that the costume looked great on me. So did others, however, the threading is not the greatest, the threading of the vest started coming undone before I even put it on and I had to reinforce it with a better thread. However, my threading pulled through the fabric because it’s polyester. I had no issue with the pants, the hat was fine, the belt is cheap cheap plastic, the boot covers have a slip that goes under your shoes, these are also made out of a cheap plastic not sure how many times they will be re usable. The shirt I had no issue with but because everything is polyester, you cannot iron the shirt or the vest. So whatever wrinkles the items come with you’re stuck with but they were very minimal. It was totally worth the price, if you’re willing to pay the price to wear it once or as many as even possibly three times, it is worth buying. I actually intend on reinforcing the fabric more myself in time so that I am able to wear it again and again for Halloween. I really did enjoy it and I got a lot of compliments. Just be aware of the things I mentioned and you’ll be good. I would totally buy it again if there was no other option. Read the reviews on the sizing of what people say, because I went according to that, and was not really disappointed. The shirt might run larger than what you would prefer, but the vest buttoned up makes up the difference so it doesn’t matter. The pants are elastic so that worked out also. The vest was a little bit larger but it was OK. In the end, you have to decide, but a lot of times I am not happy with cheap stuff, and in this instance, I was not disappointed to where I felt the need to return it

Can’t believe this pirate outfit for the money. I bought the wig and used my own belt. Sizing was pretty accurate. The only thing I had to do was reshape the hat which was easy. Just wet it and adjusted to the shape I wanted. Everyone complimented on how great I looked. Made my pirate themed Halloween party a hit.

Little pricey, but a relatively good quality costume that can be used multiple times without falling apart. I'm about 5'9 and 160 and got the large which fit fairly well. The belt is small though, fit tight on me. I swapped out the hat that came with it for a more Jack-Sparrow look with hair. Overall, satisfied with how this fit and turned out.
