While assembling the bed my 16 month was interested and climbing in and out of the bed. He then climbed out and I saw him chewing on something and immediately started choking. I yelled to my 10 year old son to call 911 and I started to perform the tilted, patting the back method for 30 seconds until a piece of plastic came flying out. I was able to get him some water to calm down and noticed it was the same color of the bed. I then shook all of the pieces and heard another small plastic piece stuck inside and was able to get it out, hence the 2 pieces of plastic in the photo. A toddler bed should’ve been thoroughly checked before shipping and this could’ve been much worse. I thank god I know how to do cpr on a toddler as it saved his life. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody. ... show more

Purchased 2 of these beds for my toddler and 5 yr old. I was looking specifically for beds like this as my kids prefer to sleep on the floor.Rather than a high bed as they do move a lot while sleeping and fall off of the bed. The beds are very cute, my kids like them. They are not huge and don’t take up too much space. Perfect for big families with small space. These definitely beat the wooden toddler bed that break from kids jumping on them. Also, I have purchased in the past the beds higher off the ground with the metal bar in the middle of the bed from the same maker Delta, only to find my poor kids back bent from the bar bending over time. Super easy to assemble. STICKERS ARE NOT FALLING APART as other reviews mentioned. Mine not. My 16m old toddler loves it. I wanted something he can get in and out by its own and him to be SAFE at the same time. AND THIS IS THE ONE! Also beautiful in his new paw patrol re-designed room. Our grandson lovesss this bed. He’s small for his age and just got out of his crib. Has to be made up perfectly when he gets up. One screw will not go in. Makes the bed a little wobbly on one end .

Im really excited to get this... My lil one just turn the big 1yr old (haha).. and started walking 2 weeks after his birthday!!! Looking at the toddlers beds I was so iffy ... Every 1 yr old deserves there first beds... However... Still wobbly in his knees getting on and off the bed would give me a heart attack being a little high off the floor... Butttt seeing this I fell in love... Perfectly safe.... Just right for him to practice getting on and off with out falling .. And its even more awesome we got cars.. he's lovesss lightning McQueen.... Yes there's stickers... But it's worth it ... Having the interaction with ur little one helping makes a great bonding time.... And with that.. he happy enough to litterly sleep in his bed all night... So once again thank you!!!!... Just had to review this after putting it together. So many of these things for kids are such a pain to assemble, but this was a cinch. Not sure how durable it is, but it's got to hold up better than the wooden one he tore up last year. Basically it sleeps on the floor, so it's just a frame that goes around the mattress. It said to not use power tools, but I did on low setting and it was fine. After putting all the stickers on, it took about 10 minutes for me to assemble by myself. ... show more

This frame is nothing special. It sits on the floor and is easily put together. It would also be easy to disassemble and move or store. Mostly, it is just fun and my kid really likes it. If it makes him want to sleep in his own bed more, consider me thrilled!
