I bought this sponge holder, despite some of the poor reviews about the suction cups holding it to the sink. I am glad I gave it a try. We have a stainless steel sink. I cleaned the area with bar keeper's friend and rinsed it off, and I have had no problems with it staying up. It has been 2 days and it is holding just fine. Had difficulty getting the suction to stick in the sink. It fell down a few times, but after about 2-3 days of finagling, I’ve been able to get it to stick and it hasn’t moved in a month.
