I did my homework because if I got a poor quality item, it would've cost us thousands in damage. All I can say is this was a great purchase and keeps our valuables completely dry. In addition the material feels well made and feels like it will last a long time. I have purchased dry bags that cost the same or double the cost of this and this by far outperforms them in quality. Gave this product as a Christmas presant to my brother to use on his boat, before he used it we did some testing with it. We filled it with paper and weighed it down in my parents pool, left it their for 3 hours. We retrieved it and to our amazement the paper was bone dry!! I used this one time only to discover there was a hole in the bottom where the seam was defective. This is a piece of junk. Stick with the name brands if you want your stuff to stay dry.
