Not sure what to do…my expectations were for good quality whiskey glasses. It looks great from distance but not so great when you are looking closer. These are not crystal glasses only cheap glass. The molding line still visible and a few are sharp. They are rotating for now but the bushings and or bearings are not rotating smoothly. I’m not using them into a bar or daily but I’ll give a try for longer time

I got these as a birthday gift for a friend who is a major bourbon fan, and they have been a huge hit. The pattern on the glasses is beautiful and very intricate, giving them a high-end look. The spinning feature is really cool and makes serving bourbon a lot more fun. One of the best parts is the versatility; you don’t have to use the spinning base if you don't want to, as the glasses work perfectly on their own. Let me make one thing clear. I did NOT think the spinning mechanism would be a feature that I would actually need or enjoy. I truly just requested this set for the Whiskey glasses themselves, but boy was I wrong! First, these come REALLY well packed. You got a riley delivery guy who loves to pitch your packages over his shoulder? Don't worry, these glasses will withstand the fiery fall. They come with FOUR circular ice molds. Each one is inside of a Whiskey glass. Well packed and no non-sense. The spinning mechanism is a stand in which you place your glass upon. There's no electrical anything, anywhere. You simply spin the glass on the stand and it spins to your delight. You can choose for it to spin fast or slow. Eventually it does slow down and you may spin it again, but this doesn't bother me. I get to watch it slow down and then spin it again. It's quite mesmerizing. The ice molds fill up easily and take a bit of maneuvering to get out, but aren't hard at all. The glasses themselves are solid, thick, and well made. Anyone would enjoy this set. You don't drink Whiskey, NO PROBLEM, put whatever you want in it and enjoy. My nephew wanted to drink out of one of my glasses. I gave him some Gingerale (closest to whiskey color I could get) and he happily spun his glass and sipped along with me. This Whiskey set is definitely worth it, every penny, I really enjoy adding them to my collection.

This is a stunning set of four spinning whiskey glasses with four molds to make ball shaped ice cubes. Made of stunningly gorgeous glass that resembles a very fine crystal in look but functions as a sturdy glassware set. The base has a complementary crystal look to it. Overall, it is just gorgeous. I love kitchenware of all kinds and when I saw this set, I had to have it. It is much more beautiful in person. The glass sits on the base securely, yet they still manage to rotate easily. I am not sure what the rotation does except make your drinking experience more fun. Yes, I know this is really for the bar, and it would be eye catching to have there. Our family does not drink, but family get togethers are the most important thing to me. I try to make even the simplest meals special for them. These glasses more than meet that need. They can hold any drink we are having at the time - cider, juice, soda, water or even milk (without the ice cube though). They may be smaller when used for drinks other than liquor but refilling them is no big deal. On Holidays, with candles glowing, these would certainly be the final beautiful touch to a table. I hope someday to have a second or third set of these beauties. To me, these belong in every home for an exquisite touch. Oh yes, they can still be used for alcohol too. These would make a stunning gift for any occasion, birthdays, Christmas, or Welcome to Our New Home hostess gift.
