This is the best band and case combo that I could have hoped for. First off, this little sucker is TOUGH. I work in an industrial environment, and this beauty has held up much more than I expected. The only downside is that the design allows the device to move around just enough to let small particles to fall in, leaving my watch to end up with some small chips in the finish, but nothing that effects use. It’s very comfortable, has a great look, and overall is just probably the best accessory that you could get for your Apple Watch. If you’re a fan of the G-Shock styling, you’ll dig this unibody band/case combo. Be careful if you use a screen protector though. The tolerances on the case are tight enough that it might cause peeling up of the edges. I personally had issues with the IQ Shield protectors. Might work if you used products suited for the 40mm watch. Pros: - Wide range of fitment. Be wary if you have smaller wrists. - Great style (Love the Military Green) - Protects device from shock - Pretty easy to install Cons: - Just enough device movement to allow small particles (metal chips/abrasive material) to fall in. - Could do without the simulated carbon fiber accents on the outside of the band (Just don’t like the look, but YMMV. - Doesn’t work that well with TPU screen protectors for the 44mm watch. Had bad peeling at the edges even with IQ Shield protectors. Overall, I think that if you need a simple yet tough case/band for your Apple Watch, you can’t really go wrong. I can’t see myself changing to a regular band. If you like the G-Shock design and durability, order this ASAP.

Like other reviews, I've had several G-Shock watches while in the 82nd Airborne. This band has a similar feeling. The quality isn't as good as a G-Shock, and it has a stiffer feel, but it definitely brings back good memories having this type of band on my wrist again. My Apple Watch snapped right into place easily, unlike the other two different brands I bought. The original black strap that comes with Apple watch never made me feel secure wearing it. I ride a motorcycle and feel 100% secure with this band. Highly recommended.

The only thing I disliked about the product is the hardness of the plastic it's made from, but unfortunately this is something you'd have to compromise on since the material is designed specifically for rugged use. I work as an engineer on a paper mill and I honestly don't have time to be concerned about bumps and scratches, I need the glass protected as best as possible without being too much of a nuisance to my watch interaction. I've been wearing it for a month and it hasn't faulted once. That being said, the raised lip around the screen is one of the reasons I went with this case. The bumper also protects the crown, but since the crown is now protected on the top and bottom, the only useable scrolling area is the top facing you, an annoyance, but still, I'd rather that than the cost of snapping off the crown in the event I manage to hook onto something while working. All in all, this is the best compromise on heavy duty and style case I've owned for my Apple watch. I would recommend to anyone looking to keep it minimal without losing too much protection.

I bought the grey version in November 2020 to replace a prior band that failed where the band connects to the watch (at the pin). Pros: I like that this watch band does not rely on using the pins to connect to the watch. The watch fits into the mold. The band is also beefy and holds the watch perfectly. Cons: I bought this band in Nov 2020. In May 2022, I noticed that the band suddenly seemed flimsy. Basically it started to crack where I would buckle it. Mine was subjected to high outside summer temps on a regular basis, so I'm guessing this is just regular wear/tear. I was still hoping to get two solid years out of it. Overall, I would still recommend it. Just be aware that harsh weather conditions might shorten its life.

Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Some things I liked: All one piece Traditional adjustable watch band with pin for holes and sliding stay. Excess band goes on top of band instead of under like the bands Apple offers. Adds protection to watch and a little bulk that I’m used to with watches. I normally wear a G-Shock and the Apple Watch with standard sport bands feels a little small to me. Easy to install and remove the watch. Apple Watch 8 45mm felt secure in the case Does not have screen protector, but I didn’t want one anyway. Very comfortable to wear all day long. Suggestion for Spigen: Offer this in more color options Overall very happy and highly recommend.

I purchased this product Nov. of 2020 and have yet to switch it out nor replace it. In the past, I’ve had many bumpers not work the way they were designed or just didn’t hold up to their specification standards which, in turn nearly damaged my watch on numerous different occasions. Needless to say when I found this online I really did not have any high hopes. That changed just within a few months of wearing it on a daily basis. Pros and Cons below: Pros: • Extremely sturdy design • Material has yet to lose color nor fade in any way • Semi-light weight • Not bulky nor does it get in your way • Easy fitting and comfortable (it takes a few days to break in from the stiffness of being packaged) • Can be washed when dirty, worn in the shower and even swimming • One solid design, no need to worry about parts breaking (only movable parts are the clasp and band strap) • Completely form fitting to watch itself Cons: (This is based on my personal opinion ONLY) • The outside rim around the inner part of the watch could be a little deeper to better prevent bumps and bangs I’m an avid outdoorsman who hunts, fishes and hikes and retired soldier. I give it a solid thumbs up!
