I've bought many cardigan sweaters in my 41 year career as a hairstylist. I wear them just about every day that I work during the fall and winter months. In the past, I've had little luck, and tons of bad luck where I either returned the sweaters because they weren't the right size, the fit and quality were horrible, were too short, etc, etc. Not this sweater.. It's a gem! I knew by the feel of it before I looked at it and tried it on that it was a hit! It's a heavy but thin sweater if that makes sense. I could feel by the heaviness before trying it on that it's made really well. Keeping my fingers crossed, I tried it on and it was perfect! Sleeve length was perfect, the silver buttons on the wrist area is just enough detail to make this a bit more stylish than just a casual cardigan. The color is true black, the length is perfect and the fit around my chest ( size 42D) and shoulder areas are nice too. It will be comfortable working in it. I have broad shoulders and sometimes the fit around my chest is too tight or doesn't hang right in the front, but this style does. It comes together perfectly in the front..it doesn't over lap and there's no gap where it's too small. It's very flattering too. Has a straight look to it. I'm going to order a few more in hopes that they all fit the same. I'm 5ft 4in tall and take an XL or XXL ( or 1X). I ordered an XXL. The fit is perfect for a sleeveless tank top or long sleeve thin shirt under it. It hits right above my knees. Im so happy with this sweater. It'll be a nice addition to my work wardrobe throughout the next couple seasons. A+++++ Update: I ordered a 2nd cardigan sweater. Same size and color. The 2nd one seemed smaller and tighter than the 1st one that I bought. Sleeve length was the same but around my chest area it seemed a bit smaller and snug fitting. I checked the sizes on both and I did receive 2 of the same size sweaters ( bought at different times about 2 weeks apart ) Just want to put it out there that this might be a possibility if you buy more than one of these cardigans. Skeptical now because I planned on buying more as the season starts to get colder. Now? Most likely not. Bummer ... show more

This is a great lightweight sweater that’s very flattering! It’s slimming and doesn’t look like a tent even though it doesn’t have a button closure. The sleeves also really make this sweater!! I love this sweater. I just received it and I have been looking a long time for one that is on the lighter side, but not too light. It fits true and is longer length which is what I wanted. I hope it holds up well after multiple uses. I plan to order in more colors.
