This controller is actually really sturdy and handy to use. I got this as a replacement after a child broke my original switch joy-cons trying to take them off and I didn’t want it to happen again. It comes included with a charger with 2 wires connected to one on it so you can charge BOTH the switch and the actual controller at the same time,which is clutch honestly. The controller has the same exact motions and vibrations to games that the original joy cons do,which sometimes is missing in 3rd party controllers. It changes how the switch looks too,since the controllers are so pro looking the switch looks like a totally different device while in it,which is pretty cool also.

I wasn't sure this would work for me because my Switch struggles with both Joy-Cons and docking, but it slid right on and connected immediately. It's helpful to remember to hit the power button on the controller instead of the switch when starting back up after connecting the first time. Otherwise, from time to time you do have to reconnect the controller in the Switch menu. Altogether, though, this couldn't be easier to use. It's not too heavy, and the lights are really pretty. My only frustration is that I knock the light color button too much and it's a pain to try to circle back through the options to find my favorite little rainbowy default, so save the instructions because that was definitely addressed but I threw them out right away.

First time writing a review! This controller is seriously awesome. It's simple to connect, has a long lasting battery life and feels great to play on. Since it connects via Bluetooth it can act as a stand alone controller, if I'm using my Switch on the dock. The LED lights are beautiful and look high quality and the build quality of the controller is nice as well. It's very comfortable to use while gaming in my bed or on my couch and it doesn't add a lot of unnecessary weight. I've had this controller for about a month or so and am really trying to think of some negatives, but I really can't think of any? If the controller fails or any other technical problems then I will update as needed. But for now I think this is the best controller I've bought.

I finally bought a Switch for myself and have decided that this is my last Nintendo upgrade for a lot of reasons. Mostly because the instructions that come with anything related to it are so poor. The instructions with this one missed a very simple key step of pushing a button on the back of the controller. It looks cool and works fine once you figure out that one missing step.

The main reason I bought this controller is because I thought its main purpose was to extend my battery. After ordering it I seen what it was for and asked for a return . I didn’t make it to the post office and said screw it and busted it open . Hooked it up easy as can be (almost as easy as the switch controllers themselves) and the feeling and experience it brought to my handheld gameplay has just been excelled tremendously. It feels great . The vibrations are smooth and you can fully customize the color scheme and plug in additional inputs with the touch of a button ? Easy . After using this I can’t believe switch hasn’t made something like this themselves . I feel like if you own a switch you should never play it any other way . If you’re on the fence about this I would just get it . This is just my personal opinion but I’m even more excited to play my switch every day just because of how amazing it feels/looks. The fact that I started to return this and ended up keeping it shows this is the item I didn’t even know that I needed lmao

Bought this for our son’s OLED switch. He was initially thrilled with it especially as it held the side controllers more steady. Unfortunately after only a few weeks of moderate use the controller sticks started drifting heavily in game play, making it unusable. I’ve seen regular Nintendo joy cons star to drift after heavy or long term use but this was after only a small amount of use. Can’t recommend on that basis.
