I have very wide feet, sometimes a 2E width and sometimes a 4E on some styles. When I was a kid, it was hard to find shoes for me. I usually ended up with brands off the clearance rack and it was the ugliest shoes for old people like Hush Puppies or saddle oxfords, which I got made fun of for in Junior High and high school. As an adult I either had to get a larger size or pay a lot of money for my true size. I also have a funky toe on one foot that makes it wider and my "normal" foot has a higher instep. Between all that and Plantar Fasciitis, I have a heck of a time finding shoes. Mostly I buy sandals that adjust so I can get them where I need them to fit. When I saw these shoes available as a free promotional I ordered them. They arrived in a clear plastic bag with the shipping label on it, no mistaking what I ordered. I tried them on with a thin ankle sock. I wear a size 8 mostly and that's what I ordered. My foot pretty much goes all the way to the end of the shoe with no real extra space; maybe if I trim my toenails LOL. There were no half sizes and I'm sure a 9 would have been too long so will just deal with it. They are plenty wide and I can get the strap over my instep but there is a lot of the loop tape showing, which will catch on things. They kind of remind me of the old moccasins, thin soled and comfortable. Unfortunately they have little arch support. I will have to put insoles with arch support. I would not say they are overly attractive, but I've had to wear not so cute shoes all my life. My sister loved them but she wears combat boots and sneakers, so if she likes them I probably won't. I will update my review once I've had a chance to wear them out of the house with an appropriate insole.

I have not had a chance to wear these all day long so my review is based on a short wear time indoors. First they did fit true to size, I wear an 8 and their 8 fit fine. They are wide so that needs to be kept in mind, if you have a narrow foot you might need to go down a size. I love the velcro closure style as I dislike having to tie laces. They are very light weight and breathable which should allow me to wear socks without my feet becoming too hot. They seem comfortable so far, the soles are thin which I am waiting to see how that works out for being on my feet long term. I have an all day event coming where I will be walking and standing most of the day. I will up date with how well they do.

I ordered these to wear around my house but I liked them so much I wear them out. These fit as expected and are super comfortable, my feet feel great while wearing them. They seem to be a quality shoe with a good insole, sole and material. These are lightweight and easy too put on and take off. They're very supportive for my feet and my feet are a mess. The style isn't fabulous but they are cute. I would order again.
