I like that the sole curves up around the edges a bit, providing some toe-end protection. It's also a little thicker than some other brands such as Fit Kicks. They do, however, allow fine gravel to get in, even though I've tightened the adjustable closure. They are very cute, and I will probably buy another pair in another color. I love the white/orange/blue combo, bit the sand has embedded in the mesh and darkened the white parts.
