I usually wear a 12.5 or 13 depending on the brand so I figured 12.5-13.5 would be big enough. It wasn't. Maybe they'll relax with use? They go on and off pretty easily. I don't really have any concern with them coming off of my foot. The biggest issue is that they cramp my toes pretty badly. It feels like there is still room at the heel, but they way the fabric pulls my foot forward it crams my toes into the end. The sole is very thin and very flat, not contoured at all, which will protect from concrete burning the bottoms of your feet, but offers zero padding. You're not going to want to walk far in these unless it's on sand. They'll do for now until I find something better. ... show more

In the summer, there are times when I just need an extra layer on my feet, like when I'm exercising in the pool. I've had lots of different types of "water shoes" and after evaluating these, would say these are best used for light-duty activities. The stretchy upper, fabric portion of the shoe conforms nicely to your foot and feels secure, however, since it wraps all the way around to the sole it doesn't provide strength or protection on the sides near the sole. I would recommend a beefy-er shoe if you plan to be in a rugged area like a river with rocks and other debris, but these are great for the pool, and possibly even the beach. Given my experience with similar shoes, they'll probably last for a season or two, so the current price of ~$11.00, seems reasonable. ... show more

I love these little shoes for my wide size 6 feet’s I got them to wear in the house as slippers since I prefer rubber bottom slippers that I don’t have to try to keep on when I walk. I am pretty much a 10.5 in every shoe I buy so I was a little worried when these were marked as a 10.5 -11.5. I thought that they might be too big but the opposite was true. They were too small. If you look at the picture closely you can see how the plastic for the sole is shifted slightly backwards because of the cut of the ankle opening. You lose at least a half size if not a whole size due to this. Other than the size I did not notice any problems with construction or other comfort. The quality otherwise seemed fine. These are pretty much just water socks the sole is very thin but does have some tread to reduce slipping. However, these are not what I would call water sneakers that actually have a cushioned sole. The shoe size as noted in the product description is accurate for size 10-11. The exterior sole (bottom) is made of rubber and a padded inner sole. However, the overall thickness is less than similar water shoes I have purchased from a retail store. The shoe would be adequate once you are at the beach, however, I don’t believe it would offer much support for a walk of some distance. My wife usually wears a size 6 in walking shoes, and these Spesoul water shoes fit her well. They're comfortable for her, which is great for beach walks.
