These feel amazing! I have been researching duck boots for WEEKS and these are Exactly what I was looking for! I live in WI and was looking for a versatile everyday warm fall boot. They are lined throughout the whole boot with a warm fleece-like lining. These look blue but they are actually brown IRL. I wear an 8.5 running shoe so I got an 8.5 and they fit great with room for warm socks. These boots are comfortable and warm in both snowy and rainy conditions. Though Sperry sells more insulated boots, I found that these work well for the climate I live in where there may only be a couple days of snow, but a lot of rain. They fit me perfectly! I bought my normal shoes size. I had no issue with the zipper but my legs are skinny too so. They are nice and warm but my feet didn’t feel hot or sweaty! I have been a Sperry fan for years. When I ran across these I was nervous about how shiny the gold metallic would be. When I received the shoes and tried them on, I fell in love. The shiny part is what makes them unique. Its not too shiny and gives the shoe some extra flare. I love the look and fit of these shoes. The sizing is accurate. The shade of green is exactly what I was looking for. I have a selection of green shirts that can be paired with them. I haven't worn them yet. But I have other Sperry saltwater rain boots just like them and I love how well they hold up. I am looking forward to wearing them in the fall. I am happy with my purchase. I have been using them primarily for snow. For such a thin boot, they are very well insulated. The boots come up to about an inch above my ankle so they are not ideal for high snow, as it will fall in, but it handles moderate snow like a champ. 100% keeps my foot dry too. My only issue is how hard they are to put on! I've been taking on and off dozens of times a day (I have a puppy) for a week now. At first, it took two people to get these things around my heel and on my foot, but they seem to be giving some way now. The shoe is not too small. Once they are on, they fit like a charm, but pulling on was quite the struggle. I think as they get worn in this will become easier, so it's definately not a deal breaker. I absolutely love the look of these. The top part looks like fabric, but it's more like a vinyl. Sizing is true to size, but if you go back and forth between two sizes (I'm an 8.5 in some shoes, 9 in others) I would recommend going with the smaller size. I think I should also note that my friend has another style of Sperry Duck Boots (Sweetwater perhaps?) and her sizing is completely different than the Saltwater style I purchased from Amazon. She has an 8.5 as well, and they are way too big on me! I don't know if this has to do with the style or something else? ... show more

Very well made boots and not your typical duck shoes look. I agree with other reviews to order 1/2 size up. The palm area of the boots run tight, unless you wear thin socks or else it'd feel uncomfortable. I'm glad I ordered 1/2 size bigger so I can pair those boots with ticker socks and feel comfortable walking around. Great buy! I got tons of compliments. They are water proof also warm for chilly weather. Love the black and grey that goes with everything ... show more

I'm so excited for these boots! I wanted some boots for walking the dog at the park where it is muddy and sandy but I hate clunky rain boots, especially because I have plantar fasciitis and really need good support in my shoes. After I saw the plaid version of the sperry duck boots in a picture online, I had to have them but couldn't find them in stock in my size anywhere until they became available a few days later here. I was a little apprehensive buying them online, especially because the lady at the Sperry store told me they don't come in half sizes but the size was listed as a 9.5, and because they seem to be a sold out/discontinued pattern. I wear a 9.5 but frequently have to size up to a 10 because I have wide feet. I tried on a 10 of the regular colored version at the store and they fit ok but were a little big/clunky feeling. The 9.5 fits just right- it hugs my feet but isn't tight. I have plenty of length so if you are torn between a 9 and 9.5 I would size down.
