My son's Aarma Vorteks came with a little S120 Spektrum USB charger. It was taking us 12-24 hours just to charge a 3S battery. I knew it wasn't the ideal charger, but i wasn't expecting to go from that to having a fully charged battery in 15minutes or less! AMAZING! This charger is well worth the money. Buy it and don't look back!

I don't think this review should have a heavy influence on whether to buy the product. I have had an overall good experience with HH/e-flite products over the last few years. I am moving up to heavier planes and use several 6s batteries now. I have now ordered and returned this charger 2 times. The first one was not sealed in the package, was missing the power cord, had no lens cover, was scratched, and the charger rattled when moved around (something broke off inside). The 2nd one would power up for a split second and then turn off. Tried it on multiple outlets and I am convinced it is not a power supply issue. I am writing this review in case it does make it back to HH/e-flite. They need to pay more attention to quality control. I am hearing this more and more and worry it is going to become a big issue for them in the near future if they don't make some adjustments.

I liked the simplicity of this charger, it almost makes charging to easy, but seriously it is a piece of electronic art, soon as your Rc battery is plugged in, it automatically detects the battery and set's all the parameters, volts, amps everything, a battery that use to take 2 hours, now taks 10 minutes. Expensive yes but well worth the money. I give it an A+:

A major improvement over the less expensive charger that I bought several years ago. If you have Spektrum batteries and don't wish to learn how to care for LIPO's, this charger is as trouble-free and simple to use as you can get. For their own battery brand, this charger will detect all sorts of data to determine how to charge, discharge, and storage charge the battery. I took a star off the rating for 3 reasons. The first is that the documentation in the package is useless and may contribute to people using it improperly. You'll need to spend some time on YT to learn from the talking heads. Second, when discharging or storage level is selected, the charger uses the internal fan to weaken the charge. The fan is super loud. I don't like leaving LIPOs on a charger for any reason if I know that I won't be in the room. So, there's no escaping the noise. The third and final reason for only 4 stars is that the first charger died while charging the third battery. 2 beeps, the screen goes blank, and there's no way to revive it. Amazon again proved to be the best retailer because a replacement was on the way even before I could return the defective unit to Whole Foods. Amazon - 5 stars / Spektrum - 4 stars.
