I had the Matek F405 Wing before and it was a nightmare to get things working. Replaced that with the SpeedyBee and everything just works. Flawless. Easy to configure. The app is a little fidgety but useful. Setup with INAV 7 with zero problems. Like I said everything just works. GPS, CSRF Receiver, LEDs, airspeed, and soon will connect a camera. This thing is pretty amazing. BLE wireless connection via speedybee app. Tons of connectors included and break out for just about everything you could want. Way less than half the price of Matek H743 but has everything (more if you count wireless) you could want. Will see how processor does with Ublox GM10 GPS/Compass, airspeed sensor, ExpressLRS Rx and ESC/servos. ... show more

    • Good Luck Connecting w/ Win10+ or Updating Firmware or App!
INAV FW updating is not updated beyond Win8 and does not work. As well support is ZERO to even know what the basic lights flashing mean. It is just all not there yet. Sad the new "support" is YOU are on your own, and have to go read through years of old posts to figure out how to update the FW, and if using old Windows 7 & Win8 gear probably works great. But there are no drivers for STM32 for Win10+. Zero steps that are accurate for flashing ANY firmware or even connecting to it. I wanted ArduPilot but would take anything at this point. So? What is cheaper $70 for this hacking required thing, and 5 hours wasted to get no where, or $150 for a PixHawk FC and everything just works. Woof. Returning. ... show more

I have been testing this in a plane I have. It works well to stabilize the plane, return to home works well and so do other functions. The price is incredibly cheap compared to Matek flight controllers that have the same capability.

Picked this up when I decided to go iNav in my AR Wing. This flight controller has all the ports you will need and is fully supported in the latest version of iNav. Soldering and setup of this type of FC is tricky if you're a beginner. The instructions show where all the ports are located, but not how to set it all up. This is not a knock on the board since it can be used in so many different scenarios. There is plenty of YouTube content to help you out with setup. There is a SpeedyBee app you can load on your phone or tablet and configure everything via Bluetooth. Several weeks in and no issues whatsoever. ... show more

    • Flight Controller Plagued with Issues
I bought this product for a large fixed wing craft to be used with an srxl2 compatible controller. The SpeedybeeF405 Wing worked ok for a bit, until I started having issues with arming. While it recognizes my controller inputs, the arming flag stating that there is no rc connection prevents my drone from moving. After weeks of trying to fix this and get flying I've given up and will be looking into something more proven. The features it provides are extensive but I can't flash anything but iNav after a couple attempts trying to install BetaFlight. ... show more
