Other caps that I had tried (standard size silicone from another name brand) kept sliding up my forehead or pulling the hair at the base of my skull. Them at a swim meet my daughter put it on and a large tear occurred (looked like a large bite out of the edge). Fortunately I had a back up Speedo cap. This cap is exactly what you expect it to be! It covers well and is comfortable, however, do note that if you have long hair - get a different size! Pay attention to size if you have long hair, this is a little small for long hair.
