Came in with a few scratches, while not severe pretty noticeable. It was my prerogative not too reach out to Amazon or speck. Decided to keep because I really needed it and just seemed wasteful to send it back when I'd have it in the same condition after a week or so. It very protective and snug so it does it's job but for the sake of aesthetic and depending on the type of work you do, it may scratch too easily. No yellow hue though. I've use this company for many years through different phone models. My experience has always been great. If it says it fits that particular model it fits perfectly. I have saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars in repair bills, for all the times I've dropped my phone. These little cases have saved me so many times. I like Speck products. I had a Presidio Grip (the old style, with the actual rubber) on my Note 8 forever and it held up really well, saved my phone more than once, and best of all had GRIP. In my hand, on a table, on my dash (to a point of course). I always felt solid holding the phone in that case. I saw they changed the Presidio Grip case + it's in more limited colors so I hemmed and hawed and decided to try this one instead. This case is SO SO so slippery. Good lord. I never understood people complaining about that based on my old cases. Based on this one, I totally get it. I almost dropped it multiple times and I had it on the phone for maybe a week or two? I mean I would almost drop it holding it totally normally. I had to order something else and move away from Speck for now. That said, the case does feel very sturdy and well made. I do think it would absolutely protect your phone. It's flexible enough to get on but mostly feels like a harder plastic shell, not those old barely protective jelly cases. It feels like a (good) Speck case in terms of build and protection. I just wish I could keep a decent hand on it. ... show more
