I ordered this case early so I would receive it the same day I received my 12 pro max. I ordered 3 cases and this was, by far, the prettiest. The glitter in the case is tiny so it doesn’t look tacky. It actually does look like the product photos but better. Anyways, moving on...the case was stiff but very smooth (translation: slippery, which may not be a good thing for a phone this size). Out of the 3 cases, this case was the most tight-fitting and was honestly a bit of a struggle to get on. However (and this pretty much rendered this case useless to me), the side buttons covering the volume do not fit correctly. No matter how hard I push the buttons, the volume would not budge. It only works if I use my nail to dig into the buttons, which isn’t something I’m trying to do every time I need to adjust the volume. The button on the other side (wake/sleep) works nominally better. If Speck would fix the side buttons, I would 100% purchase again. For now, sadly, it’s going back. ... show more

First Speck case I have to return. I like that it’s clear enough so I can see the color of my phone, and the glitter adds a little sparkle without being too tacky. I like the slim fit, but I had to nearly force the phone inside; it was so tight. I like that the case is smooth so I can put a ring kickstand on the back, but it is so smooth it keeps slipping out of my hands. But the deal-breaker is the side buttons. They are so stiff I can’t even push the buttons. I thought if I just pushed them repeatedly it would break them in, but I discovered a feature of the iPhone I didn’t know existed: if you repeatedly push the right-side wake button, it sets off an obnoxiously loud alarm and makes an emergency call! Fun! This case is going back, but I’m not giving up on Speck just yet. ... show more

I WAS excited about this case, one week while using it dropped my phone from my dining room table about 4ft and shattered the back of phone completely. Even though it states it can protect or withstand a drop from 13ft. This is the first time Ill have to have my phone replaced because of the damage, so if you suffer the occasional drop… I would recommend a tougher case! ... show more

I love this phone case. The only issue is that it’s so difficult to press the side buttons. I have to use a lot of force while holding the phone with both hands. Major design flaw.

The case is beautiful and very cute. Easy to hold and very protective. But the down side is the buttons are very hard to use, I thought maybe it would “break in” over time and become easier to use the buttons but they are still hard to use to this day and I have had the case on my phone for almost 5 months. If I could I would give negative stars… I didn’t have the case on for more then 24 hours and my phone feel off my lap and shattered… a drop my phone has been through thousands of times with other cases and nothing has happened..
