  • Easy install, but you'll probably need two people.
The media could not be loaded. Do it yourself exhaust system replacement. My daughter drives a 1995 Honda Accord EX and the exhaust system rusted out and fell on the ground. We bought this replacement and were able to remove the old system and put this one on using 4 carjack stands and wrenches, ratchets and a stripped bolt remover. The nuts and bolts that come with it may not be metric, but connect the parts seen in the picture. We went to the local hardware store to replace the nuts that connected it to the catalytic converter at $0.51/nut. All in all it took about 3 hours to get it jacked up, remove the old system and install the new one. My advice is put all the rubber hangers onto the new sections, then to connect the front pipe to the catalytic converter. Hang the back of the muffler, then connect the middle section to the muffler. Hang everything from the rubber suspenders, and then connect the front and the middle section. The worst part was getting the rusted nuts off the catalytic converter, the second worse part was connecting the middle and the front section. Jacking the car up was extremely time intensive. We were unable to connect the middle section to the hanger, but it was never connected on the prior exhaust system anyway, so we weren't worried. My nephew says this will make it sound like a f*rt box, but it was inexpensive and quieter than the system that failed. ... show more

  • but fairly easy to figure out
Came Neatly Packaged. No instructions, but fairly easy to figure out. My son has a garage pit so we could drive over and work beneath the car. If you don't have a lift or access to a pit then I think this would be tough to do. It is also a 2 man job. But the parts fit well and the car is louder than before the pipe split but certainly working OK. I'd recommend ... show more

  • Wonderful
Love it! Worked great for my Honda accord

  • LEARN FROM THIS!
First off this went on my 97 honda accord. The whole project had its ups and downs and required 5 hours of labor and had its goods and bads. Bad: Box came ripped half open and beat up, one hanger was sticking out the box! It also had a nice sized dent in the outside tubing of the muffler like someone dropped it. It came incorrectly bent so its a tight fit around my rear suspension. It didnt help that the bolts to my catalytic converter were completely rusted which required several hours of grinding and drilling just to get the old bolts out. This was the hardest part. Had to cut old rubber hangers for it to fit in the existing hangers. Good: Looks sweet and fits somewhat right. After install sounds great, not raspy or farty. throaty sound. somewhat cheap and if not rusted bolts on the cat could be an easy install. Comes with all the hardware and gaskets. Advice: ONLY BUY IF SERIOUSLY NEEDED. Not an easy project just for kicks, it was not a quick process for two people with 50+ years of experience. Buy some rustproof, high-temp spray paint and paint over all the welds with two coats. This will protect the untrustworthy foreign welds from rusting out quickly. Then spray the connections after install. Jack the car up as high as possible. ... show more

  • 1997 accord SE sedan for the price great product
You get what you pay for its cheap so don't expect anything great but if you are looking to keep your car on the road and legal this is perfect. After reading other bad reviews on this product I took their complaints and turned it to positive. So as for the rusting of the welds I bought a $4 high heat paint and painted all the welds. Took me ~1hr to install by myself depending you may need longer exhaust hanger rubbers due to clearance to eliminate any rattling I only needed one by the rear passenger tire everything else fit. Sound is ok a little loud but it is an aftermarket exhaust Sounds best in my opinion between 3000-4000 rpm. Don't let other customer reviews discourage you if you want something nice and of better quality then go spend the money. If you are just looking to replace a rusted exhaust this will work and it doesn't look to bad. Installed on a 1997 accord SE sedan ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for..doesn't fit very well..all the flanges were welded on crooked so some of the seams didn't seal up all the way and is also causing to to set funny under the car..
