(I'm reviewing right after receiving these, so how they wash and wear over time is not part of the rating.) Color: I purchased both heather gray and black. The gray is a really nice rich shade, the heather not too varied in threads that it has that more marbled --and less slimming, to my perception-- appearance. The black is a nice matte black. (I have several of the "Assets by Spanx" black leggings from Target, which are a much nicer price, but the fabric is somewhat shiny and I wanted matte. If you don't mind a little shine, the Assets are very similar in all other ways, so I also recommend those!) Fabric: Thick enough to be totally opaque, without feeling quite like a ponte. I wouldn't wear these in warm weather, but they'll be great for winter. Fit: Nice medium-firm compression throughout, without additional panels or compression on any part. Because of the compression fabric, they obviously have a fit that is closer to tights than skinny pants. Also probably obvious, but confirmed: if your measurements have you all over the sizing charts like mine do, you can confidently order to fit your largest measurement, and the other areas will pull in to wherever they need to be. At the same time there is a lot of stretch in the fabric. They looked so short out of the package that I was sure they'd sent capri instead! But nope, they were long enough for my 5'9" proportioned legs. They seem like they will hold their shape... hoping they do. Also hoping at this price point that they last for years and years and years. Final mention: they are called "seamless." There are, however, two seams down the outside of each leg. I don't care for this, as I'm wearing these under long tunics/ short dresses so did not want a "workout" look. As seaming on leggings goes, though, it's not too bad.

5’10, 165lbs, Med in Black. The first pair I received were/are fantastic, thick material, shape, defining, fit perfectly, fantastic color, no seams except for inseam. Pair number two and three, which I ordered within the same 7 days of the first pair I received—- completely different material, completely different fit, seams on the outside and inseam-def NOT seamless, ill fitting at top and around the thigh area, completely uncomfortable, I felt like a stuffed sausage. Super bummed, I loved the first pair so much. The first pair had assets printed on the inside of the legging, second and third didn’t have that printed? In fact nothing printed the same print on the inside of the other 2 pair? DidI recorded different leggings? Confused and bummed! Sending back the 2 ill fitting and awful, and seemingly fake, or poorly crafted pair- whilst search for the originals. Sigh

The wife had been wanting a pair of these for a while and she's super happy with them. She said they fit true to size, have a nice compression, but still very comfortable and able to move in and she even wore them to Roller Derby practice right after she got them. She wears a Large in all other Spanx pants/leggings and the same is true for these and the Large fit her true to size like her other Spanx.

These are perfect. I don't like wearing any other leggings. These are thick, not see-through, and definitely not paper thin like all the other leggings. They also help compress the tummy area like they're supposed to. I wish they had more colors!

I couldn’t force myself to spend the money on these, so my husband got them for me for my birthday. These are amazing….I should have just coughed up the dough. They are soft, thick enough to be warm (so not see through) shaping and long. I’m 5’7 about 146 lbs and bought a small. I have my little mom pouch and these come up just high enough to cover all that, just above my navel, but not too high where they roll or slip. Just as a disclaimer, no they don’t slide right on since they are still shapewear, but you won’t be sorry for the spend. Hope this helps!
