I first saw J. Raymond on Instagram, and after reading "Her Story" I was hooked. J. Raymond has such a beautiful way of connecting with his readers by touching their heart with raw emotion. J. Sometimes I can only read a page daily. This author writes about the things we only think about and he does it in such a way that it grabs all the little broken pieces of your soul and sweeps them into a dustpan...here...here is someone who understands. Many summer nights have been spent on the back porch reading these words. Sometimes I want to pull the pages out and thumbtack them all over my walls. I want to send some of the poems to ex-lovers, people I willingly gave chunks of my heart to. Would like to tattoo my favorite stanzas all across my body so that I never forget that this stranger, he gets it. Raw, gritty, heartbreaking and everything that love entails

This book is everything. It evokes a certain emotion that is indescribable. Beautifully and thoughtfully written from a deep, honest and heartfelt place. It screams love, raw emotion, and poetic intellect on another level. The author, Jack Stewart, is a genius.

This was probably my favorite Amazon purchase this entire year. Mr. Raymond is full of truth, reality, and I am able to relate to much of what he writes about. His work is like a breath of fresh air. It is almost like reading what you wish your mind could put into words. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something new to read. I am very happy to have run into his page on Instagram, and found this. As said before, one of the best purchases on Amazon this year.

This book is incredible. The poetry is gritty, real and powerful. I can't say enough good things about it. It's about love, finding each other, accepting each other and seeing the beauty in everything. It's about SEEING women for who they truly are. Buy this book. Buy it now.

I first of J. Raymond through a friend. Purchased these books as gifts, and they loved it. Makes a brilliant gift for the right person/s, and also makes an interesting tabletop book. Likely to spark intriguing conversation. I suggest purchasing this without hesitation.

I have never read a more brutally honest or painfully passionate anything..this book will take your soul and make it whole. So much depth and understanding of what it means to be alive. I love this book and recommend to anyone and everyone.

Raymond is known best for his ability to capture the raw and intimate context of the human spirit. These pieces aren't for the Instafamous "Her" poem lovers of the new age, just as they aren't simply for the intellectual hipster out there who took half a semester of literature in college. These poems are universal and well traveled. They are on the nose and will burrow deep into your bones. I recommend this book for everyone
