  • What About Container Beds
Format: Paperback
The book was good and thorough, but it didn't touch one bit on container garden. I should have researched the book a bit more before purchasing. I seriously thought they would have at least a little section on raised container garden beds.

  • A must have book for desert gardeners
Format: Paperback
If you live in a desert area, Southwest Fruit & Vegetable Gardening will be your gardening bible. Everything you need is here but tailored for a desert climate. While the book says it only covers Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, it also applies here in the California desert too. There is a section in the front where you select your climate based on weather in your area. Once you know your climate, specific varieties for your area are listed for each fruit, vegetable, and herb. Overall, Southwest Fruit & Vegetable Gardening is a great choice for desert gardeners. 5 stars! Thanks to Cool Springs Press and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review. ... show more
