  • Great and informative book
Format: Paperback
This book is packed with incredibly helpful information and laid out in a way that’s easy to follow, even if you’re starting from zero. I really enjoyed how clearly each step of the beekeeping process was broken down, from choosing the right hive to knowing exactly what to look for during inspections. The recommendations for equipment and hive styles were practical and realistic, and the guidance on how to get connected with local beekeeping groups was especially valuable. If you’re thinking about starting your first hive or just want to understand the basics before jumping in, this book is the perfect place to begin! ... show more

  • A LOT of same material in "Beekeeping for Dummies"
Format: Paperback
"Beekeeping for Beginners" and "Beekeeping for Dummies" are both great books, but only buy ONE or the other. The subject matter and details are almost identical and I wonder if "Dummies" worked with the other author for content. Anyway, one or the other and maybe consider the Beekeeper Bible.

  • Bee keeping 101
Format: Paperback
I enjoyed the book immensely and found it extremely helpful. I am just putting together my first hives. Some of the photos I wish were in color and of a higher quality, but the explanations of the subject matter was excellent. My only recommendation would be to offer it on video.
