I purchased these sandals after reading an article about how comfortable they are and you can walk forever in them without any pain. The sandals are pretty in person. They do feel somewhat heavy for a sandal. I weighed them at 2 pounds which I think is a little heavy for sandals. They were comfortable when I put them on, however, there is little padding. They did not hurt my feet, but I did not think they were any better than any other sandal I can get at the mall. I was really hoping these would be comfortable to wear all day. I do believe you can wear them all day, but the thin padding isn't going to last. The strap across the ankle has some flexibility because of the material that it attaches to where it buckles. The material stretches but as it does, the strap on my heel goes up and down when I walk. Over time, I would think this would cause a blister or rough skin on the back of the foot. It also makes a slight noise as it moves back and forth. It kind of reminded me of the dreaded corduroy sounds when people walk but at a much lower level. For the price, I expected MUCH more than what these delivered. I did not believe they would hold up because 1) I think material where the strap connects will break easily over time 2) the padding will not hold up 3) The value IMO was not there. They are really cute in person, but I would not recommend them.

I'm a fan of Sorel boots and always wanted a pr of their sandals, but couldn't justify $130+for wedge platform sandals. I saw this color on sale & jumped at it! Glad I did. lov them! The color isn't the 'tan' it appears to be, and the trim part is more like a pastel/ slightly neon-ish light sherbet orange color, and the strap part is more of a pale yellowish/orange/beige than the beige/tan it appears to be. But I'm ok with that.

You would think Sorel would make a comfortable shoe all the time but they don’t. I got a blister on my heal and around my big toe from these.. and it’s too large and roomy across the toe so that’s why it rubbed on my skin— be aware of Sorel— do try before you but because they are hot or miss at times

I broke my foot this Summer and even after it healed, I still had foot pain. I bought these because I like Sorrel shoe and they seemed to have a little support and cushion for a sandal. Honestly my foot hurts less when I’m wearing them so I bought them in black, the tan color is super neutral and go with everything. Great solid super comfortable sandal!! Worth every penny.
