Living in a cold climate I wanted a dresser boot with good traction. I love the color. The boots are made well. I'm not someone who walks in heels well but I don't have issues walking in these they are a perfect heel wedge height. They cost more than what I normally pay for a dress boot but I love them and they dress up my look. I do notice I have to wear higher socks while I am breaking them in otherwise the boot rubs on my leg and hurts. ... show more

These are amazingly comfortable!! I'm on my feet all day so being able to wear such a cute wedge boot and still feel great at the end is wonderful!! I get compliments on them every time I wear them which is a lot!! I have read reviews about the sizing being small or narrow so I want to add that I have a very average not narrow not wide foot,, I ordered my normal size 7.5 and they fit perfect,, if anything I have a little extra room!! I can't express enough how well made and comfortable these boots are!!! Oh and I have worn these on very rainy and snowy days,, they still look great and my feet stayed dry and warm!! ... show more

These are Sorel’s signature boot style and for good reason. These are beautiful and practical. The sole’s traction are solid and thick and works well in the snow. I live in MN and I purchased these for the traction needed on the ice. So far so good. They run small like most Canadian and European shoes so I ordered a whole size up and they were perfect. However, I do have wide feet so I normally have to go up about a half size to fit most shoes. I am a little disappointed that they are made in China as I thought this was solely a Canadian made company. Not sure if that was always the case before but I would have preferred it to be made in Canada and pay a little more. The quality does seem good so perhaps that will not be an issue. The one nit pick thing I would say is I wish the zipper was on the inside of the boot instead of the outside. One for esthetics and the other for ease of removal. I am so used to the zipper being on the inside so that was an adjustment. I have already loosened the Sorel leather tag sewed on the back of the boot. (See pic). I would also recommend protecting the leather with some protectant. This style scratches easily. ... show more

This is my second pair of Joan of Arc Wedge Boots from Amazon and love them so much! My first was in the Sage, two toned which I wear all the time and are my go to. I received these today, put them on and am in love! The Black color is perfect and the comfort even with the high wedge is incredible! I’ve had great luck with this brand. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 in boots; got these in an 8.5 and they fit me perfectly. Highly recommend and they’re worth the investment!! ... show more

These boots are great, I own them in different colors and keep replacing them with the same. Give you height but are super comfortable, warm, waterproof and easy to walk in. They last forever and stay looking great.
