  • good for kids
expected more smooth ball movement, longer and harder cue sticks and bigger balls. kids can have fun with it, but for someone who used to play with real pool table its frustration.

  • Switch the legs first
Okay, first of all there was a problem with the assembly in the factory before they shipped these. The legs need to be switch. Why? The holes have to match the right legs. The one pair of legs is longer than the other. The reason for this is because of the folding feature...the holes were drilled with different height per pair. So the longer pair of legs should go with the higher pair of drilled holes. The shorter pair of legs should go with the lower pair of drilled holes! If your table arrived not even, this is the solution. DO NOT START DRILLING HOLES TO FIX IT....just switch them legs! Now for the item....It's a LOT OF FUN once you solve this issue. Materials and build quality is okay but not the best. It shipped pretty fast. I am satisfied with the price. I would get better and longer cue sticks. These 36" sticks are okay. They are pretty light for my liking. I prefer maybe a pair of 42" to 48" cue sticks. ... show more

  • BEST PURCHASE EVER
I normally don't write reviews, but OMG my kids & I 💖 this!!! it is the most simple setup...literally pull it out of the box, pull the legs out, & add 4 nuts/bolts (1 holds each leg securely). Then just screw 4 screws per pocket. I'm teaching my kids how to apply math to play (angles, trajectory, force, etc) & they are soaking it up!! The balls also come in a box with nice dividers, & it includes 2 chalks, 2 sticks, triangle, & felt brush. So...I read other reviews & am very sorry for their experience. However, mine came fast & in perfect condition. Also, the triangle fit the mini balls perfectly & it's literally just hand screwing/unscrewing 4 bolts/wingnuts to open/close the legs. For transparency, I have to list a couple things, which are minor.. - 1 side had shorter legs (np, it had screw in end caps so I just unscrewed it a bit & it raised that side) - 1 stick has a slight indention in the handle (simply the shape of the wood itself but it's not visually noticeable & it's smooth to the touch - I had to cut about 4 strings which hung a bit low It also fits perfectly on our kitchen table w/ the legs folded in, so it raises it up a bit & also frees up the living room floor & even slides nicely under the couch to put it away (but they've done nothing but play since we got it). For size context, my 15 yr old is 5'6" 240lbs & he plays just fine (the review won't let me add a pic). I'm TRULY pleased with my purchase!! Especially with them having to stay inside so much, and for who knows how long. I have 4 boys & they've been pleasantly occupied. ... show more

  • Nice little pool table!
The media could not be loaded. Pretty good deal, folks. For a little over $100 (and considering the competition's price was at least twice that) I'm very happy with this purchase. The ball set is a solid composite material. Nice. Basic pool table felt you'd find most anywhere. Cues are solid but do not have a tip (think "end of a tiny broomstick") and they are shaped pretty flat. If you're a "player-player" , buy a kiddie cue with a tip to go with this table. But the table is small enough that the tip doesn't matter really. If you're not a regular player, the cuesticks (2) that come with are totally fine. The set had everything you need to play a game in a couple of minutes. The brush to sweep the felt was a nice touch. There aren't diamonds on the rails so if you're a pool player (like me) who wants to teach the littles an easy banking or kicking system, you're out of luck, unless you draw them on or use decals or something. This table has adjustable footings to level the table...again, nice feature considering the price. But I suggest you make sure you have a level on-hand during set up because the littles can't make balls if the balls don't roll right! Overall, this was a best value purchase. A little better shaping on the cue tips, diamond decals on the rails, and a tiny level included with the set would get the full she-bang 5-star from me. 4star for now. Shoot straight, y'all! S. • Disappointed even considering the class of this table
There are certain things a pool table needs in order to play on it, even an inexpensive one like this. Shortcomings.... 1. The legs are supported by braces secured with bolts and wing nuts. It's not a lot of trouble to remove them to put the table away, but you do have to completely remove the bolts to fold up the legs to store the table, and re-assemble the leg brace hardware to use it. It is not "quick disconnect" type of hardware. 2. The legs at one end of the table are about vertical, good enough. But the legs at the other end of the table are not (tilted). You can level the table, however, it just exposes the poor craftsmanship. It didn't need to be this way, just drill the holes in the right places. 3. The MDF board used for the playing surface is warped (crown) and all although you can play on it, there is bias on all shots that pushes the balls to the cushions. I don't have high expectations for MDF but it should at least be flat when new. 4. The cushions are dead. You can't even hit the balls hard enough to perform a lag to determine who breaks. 5. One of the cue sticks is warped as well. It can be used, but one is straight. Why not both? There may not be any table in this price range that satisfies the basic requirements to play pool but I would not recommend this table. Searching for something slightly better. ... show more
