  • By far the best phone I have had this far
Stylish, fast and with dual speakers. Great for taking videos, pictures and editing. Super easy to use without any glitches. I absolutely recommend this Sony Xperia phone.

  • Photographer's phone
Definitely for those who take time with pictures and shots. Not for people who want to pull out a camera and snap a shot and move on. Takes time to take pictures. Front camera is amazing. Selfie camera makes the android memes make sense....

  • Very nice Ph but beware.
Bought this Ph to replace my sunsetting old 3G Sony XZ, this Sony Xperia Pro-i is an awesome phone but an unlocked phone perhaps originating from Japan, I was with AT&T , after activating this phone, AT&T told me that they won't support this phone due to unlocked phone, this is Sony model -XQ-BE72 (Unlocked) AT&T only support XQ-BE62 US version locked type. So, I have to switch carrier to T-Mobile to make it work and I was glad that I switched to T-Mobile since they support all types of unlocked phones and signals are better than AT&T in my area. ... show more

  • Very short battery life
As far as a camera for your hand this phone is absolutely amazing, probably the best camera for Cinema. As a regular phone for regular use, it is quite a struggle because the battery life is about half of any other phone that I've ever had. The other thing is the fingerprint sensor is on the side of the camera which is where you would typically hold it. That design decision creates issues because when you go to unlock your phone it says that you have attempted too many times. ... show more

  • Overheating issues and a bit skinny.
Overall a really great phone. As a comparison, I bought to replace the Note 20 5G I have, I was looking to improve my Vlogging. It was a really nice phone and overall better than the Note20. BUT.. The Camera wasn't that much better in outside shots and the REAL issue it got HOT.. VERY HOT.. overheat and then would shut down. This was not even outside, it was at room temperature. Outside it would overheat after a while and it was in the ~50F(10C) outside. The width was an also an issue, for me. The 21:9 form factor over a 16:9 made it a bit thinner than the standard phone. So it a bit thin for my hands, but I do have large hands. Overall if your upgrading from a 4 year phone it would be a great phone and a great option. That said, due to the oveheating issue, I would only get this if your only taking pictures and not video often, then it's an amazing phone, also if you like thinner phones then it could be for you as well. If you are getting it for video, I would pass. If your current phone is a 1-2 years old flagship, I would also pass. It IS a flagship quality phone, but to be honest the Pixel 6, the Samsung 21 series, and the i-Pro have all proven to me to be no better than the Note 20 I got 2 years ago. I can see almost no difference in power or camera, and the NOTE 20 (And i-Pro) unlike the Pixel 6 and S21 has expansion for SD Cards. In general the latest phones are not a huge improvement over the 20 series Samsung or latest iPhone. I would say this would be an upgrade from a Note10, but not the Note20. I love Sony phones and some of the differences Sony has over Samsung ( Like no Samsung bloatware ). But they really remind me of Nokia during the MS period. They seem to release phones a little underdone or with a major flaw. The biggest issue overall for me was the heat.. overheating was a real issue. Other than that I would pick this over the S21 series or the Pixel6 Pro, IF it were not the overheating. I look forward to the I-Pro2. This was so close but just missed the mark. ... show more
