Reassemble the Egg Heart to battle again. The Death Egg Playset stands over 12-inches high and is great to display in your home. There are two tracks that you can move Sonic along. Guide your Sonic figure around the track to do a 360 spin! The track works with the included Sonic figure and other Sonic 2.5” Figures from JAKKS (other figures sold separately. At the time I'm writing this it's still on deep discount. I got a heads up about this from Wario64s tweets. I had an expiring 10 dollar gift card that was just perfect for this. I don't really collect toys, but I do have a whole ton of retro gaming collectibles and I enjoy stacking up stuff like this in the room where I display it all. I also was a massive sonic fan as a kid. The reviews on this are a little tepid, and to be honest at full price I can see why it would be disappointing. I think at a premium price it would be a lot better if the "game" aspect of this was motorized and more interactive, but at 10 dollars as a display item it's an absolute steal. The instructions are as barebones as it gets. I would recommend watching a video, because it seems super easy and it's really not bad at all, but there are one or two notches that you can miss if you don't pay close attention. So again as of writing this, it's still on sale for under 10 dollars. Can't believe it hasn't sold out yet at that price, highly recommend it. ... show more

I couldn't resist the offer. 16 USD for this playset is a bargain. To be honest I got it for the exclusive Sonic figure included. But, as note, if You plan to Buy this set, the included Sonic figure is not 4" version... Neither a 2.5".... The included Sonic figure is about 1- 3/4" tall... Smaller than common Jakks Pacific products. ... show more

Eggs are an affinity of mine and sonic gets me sopping wet with excitement! Jim Carrey plays Eggman in the live action sonic isn't that sweet?! This is built well like an egg .wasn't missing any eggs-tra pieces. Functional and cute as heck! So easy to assemble ...or EGG SEMBLE!!! C:

This thing took forever to figure out how to put together because the instructions were not helpful at all very vague a crappy toy that does not work I got it for 80% off and I think I still spent way too much money on it falls apart very quickly doesn't really stay together does not do what supposed to My son is like oh wow that's cool and then he realized what it does it doesn't do anything but collect us now in his closet garbage garbage garbage ... show more

The Death Egg figure is somewhat a mixed experience. On the positive side, I really love the mini figures of Sonic and Dr. Eggman that come with it—they’re a great touch for fans. However, the main figure itself has some issues. A few pieces keep falling off, and unfortunately, I couldn’t get them to stay fixed. Overall, it’s a fun display piece if you’re a Sonic fan, but the build quality could definitely be better. ... show more

    • Takes up space. Ad oversells toy
The ad is way more exciting than the toy. Sonic doesn't really move by himself. The plastic parts latch together very specifically and the instructions are barely helpful. The only cool thing is when Dr Eggman falls apart. "They should really do an update," says my 8-y-old.
