I really loved this costume. If I had gotten a size smaller it would not have fit however it did fit loose which I didn’t mind. My son has a man bun so the head piece was a bit tricky to keep in place lol! Also heads up if you want the ears to stick up I suggest ironing before use!

    • A bit disappointed.
The hat didn't look right. My daughter ended up pinning it to my grandsons stocking cap for comfort. And the gloves were ridiculously too big. His hands were swimming in them.

    • Comfortable, but hat size not "one size fits all"
I ordered this for my soon to be 5 year old for Halloween. He loves the costume. It's easy to put on, it's a nice, bright blue that matches the colors of Sonic that you would expect. It comes with gloves, but my son normally doesn't wear them. He did put them on and they were comically large (likely to match the aesthetic of Sonic himself). When he did wear them, he was unable to use his hands. But like I said, this wasn't a problem for me as my son didn't want to wear it. The hat, however, is too small. Sure, it fits on his head, but the strap that goes underneath his chin is tough to velcro together. It will stick together, but barely and comes off easily (not because of the velcro but because of the size). And the cap part of the hat slides off his head. He ended up taking it off when we went early trick or treating. He's happy, so it's fine by me, but if your child is dead set on wearing the hat (as one might expect) be a bit weary or at least understand it may not fit perfectly. I can't speak for larger sizes, but based on what I've read, it's a one size fits all type of head piece. In terms of value, I was pleased. ... show more

    • OK costume, decent value for the price I guess
I was a little disappointed with this costume when I received but still going to use it for my son's Sonic the Hedgehog costume as it is passable. The main issue I have is with Sonic's spiky hair. As you will notice in the picture, the hair should spike up a bit so the costume makes your child look like Sonic. In reality (at least in our case), the spiky hair just flopped down and I had to spend a fair amount of time cutting the fabric open, adding cardboard inlays, and then sewing it back up again so the hair actually does spike up. Ideally, for a not-cheap $$ costume, this extra work wouldn't be required. But now that I have done so, I have to say the costume looks pretty good. ... show more

    • A decent Sonic.
This is actually a pretty decent Sonic. My 5 yr old is obsessed, and has loved wearing this daily since he got it! He is a perfectionist and super critical, and the floppy spikes don’t bother him at all. The straps under his shoes didn’t last, but that doesn’t bother him either.

    • Extremely disappointing
Bought for my six-year-old girl who is in love with sonic. The jumpsuit fit good, the gloves were too big even for me and the headset is a nothing like in the picture it doesn’t fit her head or my head. The front goes all the way to the middle of your scalp! Extremely disappointed. Way too expensive to now have to go find other pieces that will look right with it. I never write bad reviews for anyone but I would not purchase this outfit if you plan on using the headpiece or the gloves. ... show more
