Although the instructions are pretty simple, I tend to rush at times and sadly ended up having 4 clips upside down. So just read the instructions once then one more time!! I'm still putting it together but it's going to work out well in my studio apt. I've got a lot of clothes and being able to put the clips & shelves where I'll need them is a deal breaker. However after putting it all together, which was too complicated to me, I could tell it was definitely going to do the job. My only drawback was that 2 of my shelves were a little bent. This product is near impossible to put together. I have assembled dozens of these from other manufacturers without any problem. The connecting brackets should be simple, but the welds are misaligned so the connecting pins don’t go through all the way. The plastic clips that are meant to hold the shelves at certain heights don’t function well, causing the shelves to slide down. It’s a miserable experience.
