After seeing instances of damage on both wheeled and dresser-style jewelry organizers at Amazon and Wayfair, my wife settled on this style which was a good balance of quality and price ($130 at the time I bought it) and I have to say that it's solidly built and goes together fairly easy with just one hitch. The packaging was good and no pieces came damaged, so props to Songmics and my Amazon delivery driver for that. After vacuuming out all of the styrofoam bits and windexing the mirror, it looks great and works great. The lock latches well and the unit comes with 3 keys. Not sure if my wife will ever use the lock, but it's there. The door is held in place by a magnet and it's plenty strong. The wheels are similar to office chairs and with two of them that lock (make sure you mount them on the front of the unit - I missed that the first time). The only hitch/frustration with putting it together was mounting the metal A-frames to the wood mirror/storage box. The bolts are very nice and have big loops that are easy to screw in, but getting the bolt through the metal frame *and* through the clear plastic washer took numerous tries/drops before I got it (particularly on whatever side you assemble second). I'd give the directions an A+ and everything is straight forward to assemble. I've been through much worse. The bottom drawer isn't on a rail and is a fabric box with a faux wood facade, so it will scoot out out of alignment easily. Doesn't impact the functionality at all, but if you're OCD about drawers lining up, you'll likely be fiddling with it after each use. ... show more

Super sturdy and the outside looks really good. The bottom shelve is made out of fabric so a little flimsy. It locks well. For the inside, it’s good amount of space but wish the fabric background had more functionality like able to stick few earrings on. Overall am satisfied. The “drawer” at the bottom of the stand is not an actual wooden drawer. It is canvas structured into a drawer by way of a square insert you place inside to provide drawer shape. The “drawer” just slides in between two wooden shelves. It is not in any way affixed to the stand. The mirror has three positions, which are held by a “stop peg” on the metal frame, preventing the mirror from swinging past a certain point. If you want the mirror completely vertical (straight up/down), you can’t open the mirror door to access the storage inside. This is because the door is blocked by the metal frame. So, the mirror has to be in a tilted position to allow the door to open unobstructed. That is not ideal since a tilted mirror gives a rather distorted full body reflection. The overall height of this product is about 5’, so taller ladies may find that a drawback when using the mirror. The product is meant to be anchored to the wall for stability. There is an anchor strap affixed to the back of the cabinet and a plaster anchor/screw provided, which is supposed to be inserted into your wall to keep the cabinet from potentially falling over. So, for complete stability, plan on putting a small hole in your wall. I’m not sure why there are rolling wheels on the cabinet to make it easily moved, when the whole thing is supposed to be anchored to a wall. (I’m choosing not to anchor mine - fingers crossed.) Overall, I’d say this product is typical of “made in China” merchandise and is overpriced. ... show more
